A/T Sedan below 11-12Lakhs

We have a NHC CVT that needs to be replaced. The only option that comes to my mind is the ANHC A/T, but I just don't find the car worth the money.

We already have an Altis and would like a car slightly smaller than that, hence the Civic,Jetta, etc are ruled out

Other options that I did think of but ruled out were the Hyundai Verna A/T and i20 A/T. For two reasons, korean brand and ones not a sedan.

Are there some other options that I am missing out here?
I don't mind waiting 2-3 months if the Toyota Etios & VW Ventos are due to launch with automatic boxes. Are there any others expected?

I know in such a situation a used Civic would be the most sensible option but the family is allergic to used options.
Btw, the ACI lists the Civic Hybrid @ 14 lakhs ? Is it on sale at this price?

Cedia doesn't come in automatic. Cruze is again Altis/Civic territory. I am looking for a segment below.

ANHC-AT is a good option. SX4 AT should be slightly cheaper. I guess these are the only 2 sedans that you can opt for in your budget (Not considering Korean Verna)

You've missed the SX4, not sure if you left it out deliberately. And yes, from what I've heard, the Vento will come with an Auto Box in the Petrol variant

Get the ANHC AT, its worth the cash, and a brilliant upgrade to NHC CVT. Only car with a 5 speed AT plus paddle shifts. Decent mileage too. All other sedans are 4 speed A/T, including the SX4 and the verna.

ANHC AT is the best this side of 12 lakhs, with paddle shifts to boot.
IMO, those paddle shifts make it more VFM than the ANHC VMT.

City is slightly better but qute a bit more. SX4 A/T should work out just fine for city driving.

I took a test drive of the sx4 auto (was tough since the dealers didn't have a test drive vehicle readily available). In any case, the car felt preety good - much much better than what I had expected. The ANHC AT is much better, but the SX4 comes better equipped and should serve the purpose. resale for the sx4 auto will be bad - the city will be better.

Is Sedan an absolute necessity? I would say try I20 AT. It should prove to be an amazing city companion.
For me Hyundai has come far from just being a Korean brand.

SX4 AT as others have pointed out, OR is it going to be ANHC ?

I have seen many people starting off with NO to ANHC and finally after ruling out other options they settle down to ANHC only.

Glued on your purchase decision.

@Sahil: We were in the same boat as you, looking for an automatic replacement for the Fiesta. As our car was going to be a city driven car as well, and size was important, I went and checked out quite a few cars.
The only one that I fell for was the City A/T.

You may feel that it is overpriced, but AFAIK, it is priced quite close to the Verna A/T, offers better interiors and space, and Airbags as well. You will just lose out on the diesel advantage, which I doubt you are looking for.
Do reconsider that car. After a drive in the Jazz, and after seeing the City, and comparing the prices with other cars, I have finally understood why they command a premium. Though there is no doubt the 'H' badge adds quite a bit to the premium, but it helps a lot when selling the car later.
