Bro,
the innova is indeed better but as it is, our merc and accord don't fit in our new houses parking and if we put those cars in the porch which we will have too, there won't be space for the innova and we will def. not park it on the road.

When I said > I meant bigger. Innova is big. Really big. So if you are on a space crunch and want a SuV the smallest is the scorpio

Hmm,
guess it's going to be the Scorpio CRDe with 255/60R16 Alloys and tyres.
We may replace the GTX with the Scorpio and our Ikon with the Fiesta or just the Ikon with the Fiesta/Scorpio.
Will be confirmed by tonight.

Errr you went from actually talking about accessories (tints, teflon) for the Fiesta to buying a SUV in a coupla of days ?

Anyways Scorpio CRDe is okay , not sure about the small turning circle etc though....

off topic - read today that Scorpio Hybrid (yeah right!) will be out in 07

Great going M&M

Hey, we went from buying an accent viva CRDi to a ercedes Benz E270 CDI.
Anyways, as or right now, the battle stands b/w the Fiesta 1.4 TDCi and the Toyota Innova (we found out that the Innova has a smaller turning radius).
If we get the Innova, we might give the GTX for office use :( or use it from time to time, exchanging the lancer/GTX for the period.
Final decision will be tonight.
Or we just might end up replacing both our ikon's with the Fiesta and the Innova, with the Fiesta and the GTX for office use and the Innova for home use or vice versa.
God, this is complicated.

Hey guys,
we have decided to get an Innova right now. We may get the Fiesta soon too after a month if we replace our other Ikon.
We are getting a really good deal on the 2005 V variant of the car - 45K cash disc. (neg. to 50K) + a finance discount of 57,700 bucks, pushing the whole discount to 1L+.
The downpart is that we have to choose between the Golden colour, light green colour and the Maroon Colour.

Boy you sure change minds fast
Anyways good choice, but you will have to park on the road. Since you went from crdi to the merc, how about a tuscon instead of the innova(Lemme tempt you

I wish dude.
I was thinking about it but for that price i could have my Innova and a Baleno/Fiesta 1.4.
Actually, it's turning Radius is only 5.4M wheras the Corolla's is 5.1M so i guess it will fit in the parking.
Think the lancer may go for company use instead (which isn't as bad as it sounds as it will be maintained as per schedule and i kindalike that particular driver). Besides i will still get to drive it sometimes (in the office compound, not on the roads or anything) and even use it occasionaly.
Just have too choose a colour now. Think it's going to be Golden though.
I have even thought of the accessories which will be tints, Outside rear view mirror on the hatch, convex/concave mirrors on the side ORVM's and bumper gaurds.
Can't be too carefull. Our first MUV/SUV/UV.
Now if only i can convince dad to get art leather seat covers (leather is out - it will get ruined with the sabzi runs and dog runs and Pune runs and Shifting House.)
ANyways guys,
thanks for your help and MODS - Don't lock this thread just yet. We still have to book the car and lots can happen between now and till we book.

Maybe this time too, U may finally end up buying a Cayenne instead of the Innova

Lol guys,
Dipen, I wish i could even think about a Cayenne but it has to be a diesel.
Besides, you can't have a Cayenne ferrying the dog to the vet now can you.
Abhay dude,
lol man.
Anyway for intrests sake here is the final deal on the Innova V variant -
From Madhuban Toyota. I would have preffered Shinrai but they do not have Blue colour with them.
Total On road - 12,10,538
D.P - 2,96,106
Emi - 19562 for 5 years
Disc. - 98,000 but i do plan to ask for accessories
End D.P - 1,98,106

And the best part. They have Blue colour in stock.
Now for the hard part - to finally book it.

Hey guys,
Note to Tsk, Abhay, Dipen and other members - DON'T LAUGH AFTER READING THIS.
Well guys,
the inevitable has indeed happened. My mom has objected against us buying a "van" i.e Innova.
This has lead us to drop it from the list just when the guy came over to finalise the offer.
So we are back to square one, but insteading of going for the Fiesta, we may go for a NHC City ZX CVT/GXi/VTEC now as it will be used only for in-city driving and no highways.
The possibility of this replacing our lancer is quite high (it will go for company use) but on the bright side, dad said yes to a KnN stock replacement filter. Maybe Alloys too if we go for the EXi/GXi variant.
anyways,
cheers guys,
will let you all know ASAP.

Getting alloys, better rubber (both these are hopefullys), tints and maybe a good deck too.
Delivery in 7 - 10 days.
Beat the price hike by 3 minutes (price hike effective Monday. SHowroom closed 5PM, booked 4.57PM)
