Not able to access Team-BHP / Problems loading pages or images

Thought I was the ONLY one to have an issue. Quite a few errors - Database NOT connecting, Server NOT responding etc.

I can NOT see any images either. I am accessing the site on a PC over secured layer (https).

Edit:: 500 Internal Server Error (Connection time out) as well

Mostly connection time out & database error issues since morning. Happening across devices and networks, so doesn't look like a localized issue.

I was facing same issue since morning. Sometimes when the load is high we do get such issues but today even after waiting for 10 minutes the site failed to open.

Even now when the site is available, it is very very slow.

I was seeing a html coded site for the past 2 days. There were no images available on the front page. Seems to be sorted now.

Also, Pasting an image of google search.

Server is gone bonkers. Looks like its affected.
My profile showed as Torqmaster and showed his mailbox instead of mine. Was not accessible though.

I was about post a message and noticed 'Welcome, Torquemaster' in the top right corner!

Seems like all the Auto Expo rush has taken its toll the servers.

I am sure GTO and team are already working on it on priority and restore full access to our favourite automobile forum soon !

The site is having some problem I guess. I am getting database error or 500 internal server error. Now the site is accessible but very slow. Get well soon Team BHP! We are bored otherwise.

T-BHP might want to consider offloading all the static content (such as huge image files) onto a CDN. There are free ones (Cloudflare) and paid ones (Cloudfront, etc.). Use the free CDN as primary, monitor its logs periodically, if there are higher failure rates, fall back to the secondary paid CDN.

The problem is from yesterday night (Since 4am).

Neither the App nor the browser was working since morning. I guess it is back to normal now.

The site is definitely fast now. I am accessing this over the HTTPS and NO images still load for me!!!

Even I am facing the issue. Every now and then the error of "503 Internal server error " crops up. It also mentions the server being overloaded with a lot of requests.
Faced this issue with BSNL broadband, Reliance Data card net and net in my office.

Its working fine right now though.
