i was getting out of Cakewalk and i see a gray Punto pulling up. it was dark, but i noticed the transparent w3 on the front number plate. it went a bit ahead and stopped. i walked up to the driver side, cake in my hand, and knocked on the window. door opens and the perplexed driver answers - yes? i ask him if he was a BHPian (not expecting a yes) and he replies yes!

Before doing it, I want to check if anyone has transplanted the stickers successfully.

The adhesive won't work very well once you strip them off, I'm afraid . Your best chance is to apply it like a vinyl / decal - take it off slowly without causing any tears or folds, spray water all over the new place where you want to apply. Then position and paste the sticker there on the wet surface, and squeeze out the air bubbles / water using a squeegee or even an old credit card. Try this and let me know if it works.

Green is the colour, but the LTD on my Beat is on the RHS of Rear Bumper :-(

But, do post the picture, will be a consolation for me.

@Shiv, use any good perfume - the glue will come off easily. I have removed all the dealership stickers the same way.

@Karthik: Thanks, but I am slightly afraid to spoil my LTD sticker. Maybe I will put one more sticker on the rear bumper \ hatch door to see if it increases chances of spotting (I have a secret belief that my stickers are invisible to everyone else – the only guy who spotted my car till now is Arun Josie, the (un)official bannergetta road spotter)

I want to move the LTD from the current position (on the right side bottom corner of rear hatch door glass – the same spot where you see the yellow ‘how am I driving’ stickers on cabs) and want to paste it on rear bumper, or on rear hatch door.

Yes Anoop. I did on my Xylo. Rear door had a painting job post kissing a thin stump. My LTD is now sticked on the rear windshield. You would not get the best finishing as there could be possibility of some tiny bubbles due to the lack of adhesion. Checkout the below pic, its still fine.

Spotted what appeared to be a silver alto with smoked tail lamps and IDS/LTD sticker on the hatch. The vehicle also bore the registration no: TN 09 BL 4XXX(wierd fonts).
Followed you till the junction where you took a right to head towards the SRM college in ramapuram.
