These ones look geniune, or, pretty accurate copies. Most of other fakes being spotted can be differentiated from the originals ones easily. Maybe he got them from a person who ordered a set and gave away extra ones?

Or the case could be that somebody or the shop owners for that matter order these stickers and sell them at a premium(?).

Yes, they indeed look very much genuine but don't forget the counterfeiting capabilities of these folks. And the autowala clearly mentioned that he had purchased them from a stickering shop.

There is a strong possibility for this to happen, especially in metropolitans.

I guess we can make two sets of stickers, one type of stickers are sold to those who are members of tbhp. And other type of stickers for the non members.

Doing so we can easily distinguish between a member and a non member.

I concur. Just imagine the sheer number!

But look at the brighter side of things! The forum’s URL has come up on a public mode of transport. Quite possible that a curious passenger or two might visit the forum and finds it interesting. This is just spreading the message across don’t you think? Like spotting a bunch of guys (say, at a Team BHP meet) wearing merchandise with Team BHP and related taglines and some random stranger comes up and asks, “What is this Team BHP?!”. You’d definitely be happy to tell him/her what it is yeah?

For all you know, this rick-wallah was probably bending a lot of traffic rules, disobeying traffic signals, cutting lanes etc. so you wouldn't be kind with this sticker stuck in his rick but hey, anyone can buy the stickers from the Store! Honestly, I don't find this a big issue. No offense meant!

If I may suggest an alternative - on the order page, there should be an additional requirement of submitting one's forum handle if one wishes to purchase them stickers/keychains.

Also, there should be a hyperlink leading to this thread so peeps would be familiar with the spotting/acknowledging custom!

Apart from making the stickers unique, can we have a symbol or a unique style of acknowledging fellow bhpian's. So that we know who are truly into this forum and who are not.

Also IMO it becomes easy to spot and acknowledge each other.

A very naive solution from myside as different set of stickers for members-non members may not be possible. So instead all the members can get their handle names stickered beside the sticker . Hardly should cost 50-60 bucks ? . This will also make spotting easier Non members obviously wont have/know this. What say ?

Yup...probably a feasible solution and it would be nice to have the handles stickered on your rides.

Probably a suggestion from any of the mods would help.
