| Spotted this cab on ORR this morning - heading towards KR Puram sporting an " I drive safe" sticker! And to give due credit the cab was being quite safely as long as I could observe it. Bhpian ? ?  Sent from my iPhone using Team-BHP |

First - White Punto Emotion with Got BHP sticker on the right rear bumper.  This was around 11.30 am and we both just passed on front of Konark Shop in JP Nagar. Flashed twice and honked once, but no response from the driver.  Second - Red Chevy Spark at around 12.25 with Team BHP sticker on the rear bumper.  Was driven by a lady and I was not sure if she was a member. So, did not bother with the Flash or honk this time.  |

| re: Team-BHP Stickers are here! Post sightings & pics of them on your car Spotted this morning: Outside Chempaka School Pallimukku --- A red Chevy Spark with LTD on the rear hatch. I have not bothered to take a pic to post as I am heartily fed up of TVM's BHPians' lack of basic courtesy in acknowledging a fellow member. After a number of embarrassments on the road, I have even given up on greeting my fellow members in TVM. It's like they are afraid they will lose prestige (or maybe something else??  - after all, Mallu males' testosterone is a byword and a legend) by interacting with a fellow member.One time, at Nalumukku Junction near my home, I was waiting for the lights when a member (??? - at least he had the stickers), pulls up next to me in his Chevy Aveo. I see the stickers and greet him, but there is no response at all. Instead, he proceeds to zoom off, literally burning rubber, and nearly jumping the red light and endangering both himself and others, all presumably to avoid meeting a compatriot. I have seen this same car several times on the ByPass near Tiruvallam, and he has always ignored every overture of mine. This seems to be a pretty common behaviour in Trivandrum. To the extent that, on another thread here, a member tells me he is a fellow Vento owner in TVM, and when I ask him to let me know where he is and other details, he disappears, never to be heard from again. Sad. vishnu_narayan (who I have sadly never been able to meet) and ventolute - who seems to be MIA these days (I never see his car outside St. Joseph's School these days) were welcome exceptions to this seeming rule. I will carry a candle of hope in my heart that there will be a change for the better in the future. As things stand now, I would probably suffer a heart failure if I were to be greeted OTR by a BHPian in Trivandrum. Last edited by pillainp : 4th July 2014 at 10:57. |
