ages back i wanted to get into racing (after-effects) of watching Driven.
And while i was talking to my ex-girlfriend about it, getting a little optimistic we started thinking of what my nick would be if i ever got into racing (something like 'doctor' for Rossi).
And instantly she came up with 'Manson', it was a combination of 'man' from Manmeet (first name) and 'son' from soni (last name).
And boy thats one sweet thing she did.

manson.

Hi anu ...

Hi all,

My name is Anusankar and whenever i tried to create a user name in web it allways says "user name already exists!!". So thought of something different and ended up with "hianooo", which is simply "Hi Anu ".

cheers

Well, revving sounds have always been in my head since i was a kiddo,
used at as my racing nick on all my Racing videgames, had it as my email id etc etc, so it was just natural that it would extend to a petrolheads forum!!

I got into street-racing after watching FnF. It was from Speedrun2003 that i realised Drag racing does happen in India. Of all the racing genres, Drag racing is almost the only sport which uses a bottle containing a liquid which when activated through a switch, U get that "boost". I got hooked to Nitrous Oxide(N2O).

Till today, never have I regretted for having this Screen-name.And i never will

Well I my nick here is 1Day and its cuz I always use to tell myself, one day i will own this and 1 day that and it all started with the Z06...since i got the younger brother the C6..i just stuck with the 1Day until i get the Z06 and then it will cont, till i get the F430 and on and on and on..so until i have actually bought the most desired car for myself, it will remain 1Day, after that it would become FinallyTheDayCame

but i also go by KILR-RYD on other forums cuz thats my license plate for the vette which i am about to get in the mail soon...

Elf: Happened years ago & exists today due to many reasons...

I chose elf as I was fascinated by the 6 wheeled Elf Tyrell F1 racers back in 1977 (see below). That got me hooked onto engine tech as a kid, something which stays with me till today...

Between 1986 & 1992, my buddies & me used to have stickers on our cars that read "elf". It was only allowed on cars belonging to our 'gang', & I was the one to designate the recipient cars... Post that, the gang split up, & I was the only one who continued to have it on my car (till this day). Been known as elf ever since, with Mom's car (the 800) known as Mother Elf for the longest time as well... especially around where I live...

"Alf" in Arabic also means 1000 - which was my first car...

Also, close friends call me "el f**keroo", for the reputation I have of screwing around with everything & everyone... Elf is just a shortened version of that...

Tch Tch and here I was wondering that hopefully it was due to some physical resemblance. Boy I thought that would be fun, finally someone could make fun of the funny man!! But alas it was not to be
