a perfect example of what stinkingly rich people can do!

i knew abt it since last several years. nobody has any exact details abt this nice masterpiece!
and the 'owner' of this road never used it, except 2-3 times in initial days! he uses his pvt chopper to ferry himself to hilltop, whenever he felts the need to visit the place!

Perhaps, but it was his mountain, his palace & more importantly - his $$$.

At least it gives us a chance for a good weekend getaway. The hotel isn't private property and there's a large parking lot + restaurant on top fRom where you get a bird's-eye view of the landscape.

The road is worth the drive & this is where I miss the Mondeo even if it doesn't fishtail like the overpowered RWD I now have.

And below the mountain is a public green oasis with lush, rolling lawns where people camp out during the weekends. All in the middle of barren, weathered rocks and desert sands.

How many such well-developed roads & public facilities has our 'democratic' Govt. given us? Think about it.

Gives you the chance. I'd give my eyeteeth just to drive on that road. Nandi hills is all we have. If I lived near Jebel Hafeet, I'd be buying new tyres and brake pads every month.
