Need for speed Carbon or fast and the furious tokyo drift ?

Guyz what do you think will be the next big game on the PS2? coZ im sure with the reliability of EA we should be in for another good one with NFS :Carbon whereas namco on the other hand is new at racing physics for games like these so what do u think....

NFS of course ... look how good Most Wanted turned out. Fast and the Furious is gonna suck. I didn't even like tokyo drift that much. Faltu story. The first one is the best and only one.

Btw Need for Speed: Carbon has a confirmed car list now:

The problem is that the game looks the same as before, just darker at night without any street lights. Most Wanted did offer something new after several underground games, but I really doubt Carbon is going to make a big difference. Of course it will be the best racing game in the genre, but nothnig revolutionary.

Try chckin out the videos of Carbon at You tube, i feel its boring, very boring, I have a feeling that the Most Wanted will be better. All I cud notice is that u gotta race wid another car and at times if u are ahead, u gotta stay ahead for sum amout of time in that distance and u win and if that guys stays ahead and maintains da gap for that aloted time, he wins so its like racin but nothin to go with u knw tracks, start finish lines n all.... will be different never the less, and it shows sum cool driftin too. And u will be racing along mountain terrains so if u slide off and go off road, ur car will be delivered as scrap and ahem the reason y EA says to release da game is that in this game equal imp to safety is considered as that of speed n racin thrill.......lets all wait n see wad happens!

It appears that NFS Carbon will have a lot more strategy than just racing and winning. Check out the following for a lot of interesting information about it.

To each their own but from previews I don't see any game outdoing NFSMW and GT4 but you never know. I will look forward to trying out NFS Carbon anyway.

Not sure if Tokyo Drift can outdo NFS Carbon. EA senses the pulse of gamers much better.

There is no PC version of GT4 (unless you can make your PC read PS2 DVDs). You'l need a PS2 for it.

If you want you could wait for the PS3 and pick up Vision Gran Turismo aka GT5.

after Underground 2, NFS has gone down-hill with Most Wanted. EA better pick up their game if they wanna push Race-Simulators for a market share. as for the car list, just better to pick up a copy of midnight club III dub edition.

Ok guys, forget Forza, forget NFS....i've been reading a lot about Project Gotham Racing 3 and trust me, it's almost as good as GT4 in terms of graphics.

The only let down is that it feels a lot arcadish. Take the same car in both the games and you'l be able to take turns, a lot quicker on PGR3 than in GT4.

Here's a vid comparison between the 2 games. Watch the turning speeds of PGR3 vs Gt4. Gt4 is by far, more realistic in terms of vehicle dynamics.

Another thing i noticed was that PGR3 didn't have any of the bumps and jumps that you experience on the Nurburgring. GT4 has it all.

So, all i can say is that though PGR3 has prob matched Gt4 in graphics, it's nowhere close to being the ultimate racing simulator.

Maybe "Gran Turismo HD" aka "Vision Gran Turismo" aka "GT5" will set new standards in graphics.

GRAND TURISMO 4 IS THE TRUE RACING GAME OF THEM ALL....although its become a lot more tougher withgt4 which puts u off a little...with the added 5sec penalty if u use the barrier to turn and stuff like that...but it still is no doubt the best RACING SIMULATOR.
