I predict a biggie from Rohit Sharma and an Indian Victory.

Not sure if Nohit can do anything but I hope he does. Main concern for me is form of Dhoni. We dont have anyone in lower order except for him to do big hitting.
Also Rahane needs to bat higher. Sending him after Jadeja was a ludicrous move missed by all cos we won.
Have to play 2 spinners for sure. I got a feeling if we are as clinical as in Pak game we can beat SA. Bat first and let them choke :p
The star sports add campaign has got really interesting this time around. Perhaps even they would not have anticipated such a huge response to there India Vs PAk firecrackers advertisement. They have now come up with there new add for the India vs SA match, a side to whom we have lost all our previous 3 encounters in the world cup. Hopefully we get to burst those crackers this time around!
Dhoni can't flick them bails any more! :p

The specific reason being that these set of ‘LED stumps’ cost $40,000 (Rs. 24 lakh) and the pair of bails costs as much as an iPhone 5 (Rs. 50,000 approx).
So Dhoni won’t be able to keep any of these bails or stumps unless there is an official permission from the ICC in this regard.

I have a hunch India might win against SA this Sunday.

Funny how things change, up until a week ago people were doubting the possibilities of India reaching the quarters. Now, we believe that they can beat the best side in the competition.:D
On a different note, has anyone watched Out of the Ashes? It's a documentary on the rise of the Afghanistan team from war zones to the World Cup.
Amazing story. Must watch for every cricket lover.:thumbs up

Looking at how Zimbabwe and Ireland are playing, India will have to be well wary of them. Its those matches that are important for India. Am not too worried about the game vs SA, just hoping we don't lose heavily and affect our NRR.
Don't expect India to get docile pitches like the Adelaide Oval on Sunday for all the matches. So my India qualifying hopes are Quarterfinals at best. It is Australia's cup to lose this time, am rooting for SA to win (qualifying for the 2nd Semifinal at Sydney, the place that started it all). NZ are close contenders, however their top order doesn't inspire confidence yet!

Looking at the attitude of Windies this time around, they are at a risk of returning home blanked out. Funny how times change, if you compare this to
how disappointed the Windies were after their shock defeat in 1983 Final.

Did anyone notice, in the matches so far. Its the matches with the minnows that have thrown surprise moments (IRE winning, ZIM reducing Proteas to 83/4 and chasing down 277 of the 338 posted, Kiwis collapsing to 7 down in what should've been a walk in the park chase of 143) but the matches between the top-8 have been totally one-sided affairs with hardly any fightback (barring Aussies being reduced to 70/3).
An AFG win tonight will be fun! Am even more looking forward to England vs Scotland stupid:
Wow, what a spell of swing bowling - Tim Southee sends England Southwards with an amazing spell of 7 for 33, England manage just 123 :D
And now Big Mc Brendon McCullum goes ballistic scoring the fastest 50 in world cup cricket. Will New Zealand win within 10 overs ? :Shockked:
Haha McCullum is on fire! Looks like New Zealand is winding up the innings in less than 10 overs. That escalated pretty quickly! :p
NZ is looking like a real force. Haven't ever seen an NZ team this dominant, that too in a World Cup game.
New Zealand has an emphatic win over England losing just 2 wickets and 38 overs to spare. Brendon C was in best bitting a hurricane 77 off just 25 balls. S/r: 308. Just amazing. England just couldnt provide a good batting score.
The smile on a few expats in our office from UK just vanished after seeing the scores.
Todays McCullums innings was stupendous,he and South african captain DeVilliers will be the players to watch out for. Great innings by McCullum to decimate england.
England's NRR is at -3.952 :uncontrol I wish SA and England were in the same group and they had the match in Sydney :)

Weren't the Kiwis table toppers in 1992 World Cup in similar conditions, only to get shot out in the semis. They were pretty close in 79 as well.
People are asking if England thought they're playing a T20 match (but they batted 33.2 overs!) ?
Even in that case, they're way too short of a par score with the paltry 123 they managed :D
Nobody watching ? I would say its a par score and anyone can win
