Wow ABD all the way, west Indian bowling decimated!
52 ball hundred to boot for ABD. Not much chance for a windies win.

With the xcoreboard reading 261/3 and a little under 10 overs left, one cannot rule out a 350+ score. And going by ABD's track-record, even 400 is possible! :D

:Shockked::Shockked:

Unless Gayle replicates his previous innings, West Indies has absolutely no chance.

They ended up at 408/5 with deVilliers unbeaten on 162 off 66 (is that correct?) including 30 runs slammed in the last over :Shockked:

Good luck West Indies!

Just back after seeing A B Devilliers fireworks. He took the WI bowlers literally to the cleaners. Scored 162 no out. SA scored the highest score ever in the world cup 408/5:Shockked:. Unbelievable hitting by the SA captain. The WI bowlers didn't have any clue as to where to bowl to the genius. It seemed like ABD was seeing the ball like a football. The man missed the fastest century in the world cup by couple of balls. 30 runs were scored in the last over:eek:. Pheww..

And 34 the previous over of Holder. Actually, after 10 overs, Holder had figures of 5-2-9-1. At the end of the match 10-2-104-1.

So figures for his last 5 overs is 5-0-95-0 :D

Adding to my wish list: AB scoring a triple century and SA scoring 500+ :D

And Gayle is out! Perfect! :D

SA will own this match now.

SA was 147 at 30th over. They nearly tripled the score at the end of their innings! :O

Fastest fifty in ODI cricket - 16balls
Fastest hundred in ODI cricket - 31balls
Fastest 150 in ODI cricket - 64 balls
All these records belong to AB Devilliers.

Unbelievable but true!

He would have easily got fastest 200 in ODI cricket (138 balls from Gayle) if he had few more overs to spare.

Windies 53/5, this is going to be one of their most humiliating defeats :Shockked:
SA Win by a margin of 300 ? Now that must be another record if they do it :D

Just the other match WI had the record for the highest partnership for the second wicket. Today they will own for the record for the defeat by biggest margin. Such is the uncertainty of the gentlemen's game.

WI are 64/7 in 18 overs. I doubt that they would even play half of the stipulated overs. They heavily depended on Gayle and paid the price.

Done and dusted! :D

What a win margin! 257 runs.

My only prayer is India shouldn't face Australia in the knockout stage. DOn't have much hopes for that if it happens eventually.

PS: CWC 2015 Wiki is very very useful and constantly updated. Do keep the link bookmarked! :thumbs up

It was an awesome show by South Africa today against the West Indies!clap:

Is it pretty much a 2015 WC finals rehearsal with match tomorrow between New Zealand Australia? Good that it falls on a Weekend. I'm going to watch it!

If there's any team that can knock Australia out its the Indian Team, as Ravi Shastri boasts!:D
They are beatable provided we get over that mental/psychological block. Not sure where we will play our knockouts but on those small NZ grounds are spinners may be carted around. NZ conditions may have more movement in the air similar to England & that could be a problem, we'll have to wait & watch. Australia-NZ tomorrow should be interesting.
I just sniff a big 100 from Rohit Sharma tomorrow.:p

Holy crap! Australia is 104/7 at the end of the 20th over. Is New Zealand such a strong team now? Never thought these guys can bowl so well especially against a strong opposition like Au.

EDIT: Another one gone. Looks like the match will wind up before 150 runs in the next 6-7 overs.

EDIT: 106/9. :Shockked:

Come on, Beat them Black & Blue!
Rooting for NZ and Ind victories today :)

Black caps got a Bo(u)lt from the Blue with 5 wickets today, what a performance clap:
