Nice taxi! Now here is something that may also have been a familiar sight on Mumbai roads?
Minichamps 1:18 scale Hanseat Tempo 3-wheeler box van (Phoenix Reifen, Hamburg). Possibly 1949, but I am not sure as the box has no information.

This was more common down south. There are tons of them on the road near indore.

That's interesting news, Cyrus. Thanks for the info. I thought they would have been phased out ages ago. Would love to spot one some day.

Hey that's cool, I have been on a lookout for the same model, did this model came from the same source/ store, I will check this one out. As for the Hanseat Tempo, these are quite popular in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgrah. Bhilai (the Steel city) has hundreds of them still plying as goods van, the People cariers though are out cause of the minidoor from the same company.

@ Dussey: nice one, Classic trucks always make me week, I have a Studey Baker pickup form the same era (1:32 from Signature collection) here are the pictures

Hey Amit,

The Padmini is nice with the bling wheels, got one myself, it's RC right, but my meter is missing and they only had one piece left sadly!

@flotsam: Thats an awesome three wheeler. Where did you source it from?

@Dussey: Lovely detailing on the 1:24. I like those barrels :)
