OMG that model is BEAUTIFUL! 1:24 I assume? How do you compare FM to Minichamps and Autoart? Iv always wanted a model of a truck but Minichamps and Schuco are the only ones who make it and prices are around $300. |
FM models are much more detailed than Minichamps but AA is as good in detailing as FM since they do 1:18 against FM's 1:24.
But where FM is different from AA is the build. Both my FM models are very heavy and very very rugged in its built compared to other manufacturers ( I only own Minichamps, AA, Yatming ...).
My 1:24 FM is as heavy as 1:18 AA MB600 Pullman LWB. But if you look at the VFM factor versus the build & detailing , my choice would be Minichamps.
P.S: I would love to own the Red VW Porsche van by Schuco but the price is ~ 8000 -12000 INR
Here are a few which are a part of my cool wall :) ... sorry for a bit grainy pictures due to poor camera quality. There are more to come in a month's time when my Auto Art shipment will arrive, till then its Maisto's.
The cool wall
