Sameer,

Nice to see your post, that's an awesome machine. By the way there is one hobby shop in the Concorde hotel Shopping mall which also has such military models and model cars, They had discount on some of them also.:).

@flotsam: Awesome. Do you have more of the WW2 models.

I am a big WW2 war machinery fan. I have managed to pick up scale models of guns, few planes, battle tanks and some other stuff like small flags of the various armies of Allied, Axis and Japanes forces.

Looking forward to more. :)

PS: I have quite a big collection of Commondo - WW2 based books. Picked up from our circulating library when it closed. One of my prized possessions.

Hi Spitfire: yes, I do have one more: will take a few photos and put them up: I have just begun my armour collection, so I have only 2 so far. Commando comics, yes, I remember those, too. Were my favourite reading in school.
@Manish, thanks, will check out the shop you mentioned.

wonderful Tiger Tank

A most devastating piece of armoured machinery which thrust great fear into the hearts of the allies.

@flotsam: Thats an awesome tank.

@hanmust: Those Merc models are really beautiful. Do you order from ebay or elsewhere?

@Cyrus: I'll say it again. That 500 looks beautiful. I think I'll be buying my first Fiat model soon. :) About the GTR I think I'm happy with the red one I bought. The silver wheels somehow dont suit the white colour. ( I know you'll be painting them anyways)

They look like dealer editions to me.

Im thinking of picking up the 1:24 for when I have my own desk at work. And i havent decided to paint the wheels yet. Im kinda in that "No more mod" phase. But if I do paint them, They might be Gun Metal Grey or something. Lets see. Also, I saw on this diecast forum recently, Someone opened up an AA GTR and painted the wheels black. She looks Deadly!! And he was White too. So maybe Ill do it afterall!!
