[quote=sinner;1843351]Went on a small Scale Model photoshoot with my buddies and wify.. herez a teaser.. Will post pictures soon.

Here is the list of models we carried out our shoot on

1:18 Hummer H2
1:18 Ferrari F430 Scuderia
1:18 Dodge Chellender
1:18 Lamborghini Reventon
1:18 Ford GT
1:18 1998 Porsche 911 GT1 Le Mans
1:18 Ferrari 250 LM
1:24 1967 Shelby GT500
1:24 Lamborghini Reventon
1:18 2008 Ford Mushtang
1:18 Lamborghini Gallardo
1:18 BMW 7 Series
1:18 Lamborghini Murchilago
1:18 Ferrari 612
1:18 Aston Martin V8 Vantage

Wow... sweet.. ive been trying to get my hand on the Ford GT & 911 GT1 for ages... still dont have them to my collection :(

Over the last couple of years i have been presented with quite a few scale models by my wife.So one evening i decided to do a photo shoot of these.

The first one is a a Ducati Augusta Bike model from my collection.

The second one is a 1:18 scale model of hummer h2.

Up next is a bike . Kawasaki KLR650 ,known as a dual purpose bike ideal for highways as well as off roading.
The scale model of this bike was presented to me by my wife when she came to know that i am a bike enthusiast, during our initial days of friendship

The Next Bike is From Suzuki called the hayabusa. This bike is by & far the final word in sports bike world. Its the fastest production sports bike in the world.I can go on & on talking about this bike.If i ever become rich enough in this life time, then you will find a 1:1 working model of this bike in my garage. But for now since i am still struggling to make some fortune, i could only manage a 1:18 collectors model. This one is close to my heart since this is the first thing i brought for myself with my first salary 4 years back.

Last but not the least ,this bike is from yamaha, though i don’t exactly recall the model name of this bike, this is one of my favorites in my collection. This model again was presented to me by my wife.

@shreehari: Excellent snaps! Nice to know that your wife shares interest in scale models. Good for you.
@sinner: Bring on the pics soon.

hey
ive got the same one from NewRay
the Silberpfeil is a really cute little car ! and as you said one cant expect the world for Rs 159/-. Even my little Jag SS100 is of the same type and quality as my Silberpfeil but I have no problem - its pretty good for the price.

i keep buying these little guys from NewRay and such because I love the classic cars that these models represent and dont mind owning a little toy/model in one form or other.

if only AutoArt or other such higher end manufacturer were to make scale models of these, I would happily buy those - even though they are more expensive I like their quality and attention to detail, speaking as a fairly serious 1:43 scale model car collector.

cheers
