Quoting from the Wiki here "The Volkswagen Microbus Concept Car (also known as the Volkswagen New Microbus and Volkswagen Microbus Concept) was a concept car recalling the original Volkswagen Microbus and first presented at the 2001 North American International Auto Show." Read more here.

In other news, here's some group shots of the VW Vans from the collection.

Hi Siddvi,
I have the same Samba bus but in the 1:40 ratio.
Saw it at a clearance price and was too cute to ignore, even though I dont collect diecasts in that ratio. Following are some pics:

^^If i am not wrong these pics are clicked by another Bhpian Karthik1100.

@Cyrus: 1399 if i am not wrong, but you are right about the quality, this welly is as good as Autoart minust the carpeting. Give it a thorough look yesterday but finally picked up Maisto Lambo Murceialago LP 640 1:18. Though given a chance would love to pick this up irrespective of the fact that i am not big Porsche fan.

Yes Bandhav, You are Right. The pictures were clicked by Karthik1100 and also uploaded by him as I was very busy.

PN: The Porsche show here is an PORSCHE 959, 1985 model. Not a Carrera as mentioned

Lovely boss the Herald and Minor are real desirable. Any shop where we can get them in 1:18. Minichamps is officially in India through http://www.automania.co.in/

but i think they are not functional yet.

hi superselect
that Jag MK 2 is lovely as are the others. nice 1:43's - I envy you as a 1:43 collector myself.
That Rover 2000 - reminds me a bit of a Standard Vanguard for some reason.
