Scale model Enthusiasts and Gurus,

This may sound funny, but I want to have a Scale model of a moped that I possessed as a college boy.
I loved the vehicle 15 years ago and now I miss it.

It was hardly seen in Bangalore but was the most common vehicle In Mysore.
The above clue is an easy one for people who have seen both the the cities.
Yes, I want to have a scale model of the humble Kinetic Luna

I have browsed through enough websites and inquired enough showrooms for this but its available nowhere.
Though I owned a Luna Super, I would be satisfied If I can have any one of the following models

• Luna TFR Plus
• Luna Double plus
• Luna Wings
• Luna Magnum
• Luna Super

What are the options if I want to build one and how expensive would that exercise be?

1. A beautiful silver E Type Jag. AutoArt. 1:43.

2.A bright red classic Vespa. Maisto. Scale could be a 1:36 or similar. Not written anywhere.

Landmark in Forum has a new stock of Wellys in 1:24 scale under the NEX series. The quality seems to be nowhere close to the usual Wellys stuff though. The only model that interested me was the Aston Martin V12 Vantage (pretty rare in 1:24 scale) but even that wasnt up to the mark. The rest of it was the usual collection of Lambos, Mercs etc:

Sapphire, Koramangala has new stock of the Maisto Kruzerz series in 1:24 scale including the new Corvette and the new Dodge Viper. Definite difference in quality between the Maisto and the Wellys NEX range. Ended up buying the Ford Mustang Boss 302.

Bought the following here in Copenhagen and in Stockholm at a small hobby store in Hillerod and at the Audi and VW showrooms in Stockholm respectively. 1. Citroen DS 1:43 Red 2. Horch 1:43 Black 3. VW Polo WRC 1:43 White



Also do see this brilliant moving display of 1:43 scale models at the Audi showroom in Stockholm. Literally so many 1:43's that one can spend several lacs of Rupees if one is an avid collector with an uncontrollable itch to spend...

Hemanth, hi! I rode a Green Luna too while in high school ! lovely moped !

I shall certainly reply to you if I see a scale model of any Luna.

at Bangalore, on OLX , the real one (about 1978 model Luna ) was available in yellow color , for about 13k. i think this could be bargained down to below 4-5k , as there are no takers since many months. Pls PM me if you are interested but did not find the advertisement.
