All you need to do is, select the area using pen tool, then don't disable the pen tool, rather come inside the area you have marked, right click and click on on make selection. Then copy and paste. and do the alteration. Actually this is destructive in nature, as in it permanently deforms the pixels, so a better way to do this would be masking off the unwanted part and using adjustment layers. I told you this, so that in future you can Google out more on masking.

@TorqueGuru & Rudra - amazing photos you have posted and the retouching seems out of this world. Please post some tips on photographing cars that are not black in color.

Well, cars of any color look best with clean reflections, so shooting them at wide open places is a good idea. The rest, is upto you to experiment. And thats the best way to learn.

Black or darker cars more difficult to shoot because you need overcast or evening sky. It is hard to correctly expose darker cars in bright light, as in afternoon sun. You'll either overexpose the surroundings or underexpose car.

mukul the rear wheel is out of focus pal,maybe coz of the angle of the shot. I am sure you can do better. Good luck !!

Rear wheel is out of focus due to second shutter curtain travel time. This happens while using slow shutter speed.

Well here a compensation for the rear wheel blur. I figured out how to avoid em. You can avoid em only if the pan is exactly parallel to the motion of the subject. he bike was taking a turn and my pan was not exactly parallel to its motion.
