I remember that one... You've done a much better job of making the alto be the focus of the picture (more appropriate for this thread) vs the ikon....

Friend's Grand Vitara at Manali. Afternoon snap. Not really happy with the light quality. Background looked imposing though.

@Rudra
How do you get the exaggerated shine on the cars rudra? The back ground for this pic is pretty awesome.

Another pan shot following the advice from Rudra and Samurai,

I know this particular issue bothering the hell out of you..
The fact is all those tones/shine and highlights are there. You just need to enhance those strategically. Mere Photoshop tonal adjustments won't do. You need to work extensively on pen/path for precise selection. Plus there's no fixed rules for this.

That pan shot is nice. Since you are it, go for even slower shutter speed.

Is the afternoon light dull there? Because it doesnt look to be quite harsh from the pic.

Nothing like that. Look at the cloud situation.

@Rudra
Very much so!
Do you use studio lights for your auto shots? Or you prefer natural light?

TG.

All shots are in natural light. Studio lights need too much of planning and preparation. And it's really expensive. A single day shoots cost can go up to a million Rs.

In this thread you can see my studio shot of Mercedes E Class.

I assume you are keeping the VR off for pan shots. Some lens/body allow you switch off only horizontal VR while keeping vertical VR on for pan-shots.
