Drifty,

Thats a touching write up pal. Me going to miss your babe too man.

Food for thought - Regarding A.S.S, you going to move from Hyundai to Tata. Get set.

Excellent write up Drifter.

I totally understand how you must be feeling letting her go. The times you have spend with her and the way you pampered her with different footwear.

Too true. There are a lot of wannabes out there who will never understand this.

Oh my God!! D R I F T E R ! ! ! You let it go off? It was such a lovely car! I really liked the way you had it.. One of the neatest modified CRDi's around.. I hope your next car satisfies you same, or even better than the 86. Btw, getting a SUV next?

Goodbye 86 - my Conti's faithful long distance travel partner. Who's taken her? Has he still left the team-bhp stickers on? Does he leave the fog lights on even in broad daylight?

@addy: can't help but remember the fun we've had on the goa drives. as far as i know the teambhp stickers are still on. Don't know who got it, unfortunately she was given to a dealer. I hope somewhere her fogs are still shining through the day. All I have left from her is the little autocar india sticker from the rear windshield which now resides on the door of my room. *sob*

Don't think the soon to be arriving safari or any other car will be able to make a place in my heart like 86 did.

Would like to know your thoughts and feelings after you get the new beast. It's going to be a different drive, a different love.

Somehow this Accent had character. And boy, did she move. 85K in less than three years is some running.

86 did bring on the crdi move on the forum, think crdi, think Drifter.
Your garage and ownership review alongwith this farewell note surely exhibit the time you've spent with 86 to maximum detail.
All good things come to an end, orelse there would be no fresh start.
All the best with Reclaiming Your Life!!

I'd like to take this oppurtunity to thank all of you. Didn't know the 86 would generate such a response.

@All the Goa riders - I know you guys will miss her a lot. I just hope somebody is taking good care of her.

Goodbye 86.
