SL didn't take the match seriously against the Aussies, and they are definitly going to pay a price for that by crashing out of Semis!

Even if NZ beat Aus, both will be placed at 12 points each. First place qualifier would be the net run rate. Australia are well ahead in run rate.

So it's -

1st SF - Aus vs SA, 2nd SF - NZ vs SL.

Let us see if NZ get past their semi finals against SL to challenge Aus in finals

Surprising that Sehwag is included in the one-day squad. He may do well against Bangladesh, but against top teams his best days are over. But I will be happy to be proven wrong. I would have left out Sachin from the Test team as well. And left out Uthappa from the one-day squad and probably Rajesh Pawar from the Test team. I would have included Kaif and Pathan in both Test and One-day teams

Aussies on top. Powerplay 2 not taken, if wickets are not falling down, NZ bowlers are going to get thrashed to every corners.

Now on all the teams need to play themselves and the qualifier needs to play with Aussies. WAY TO GO AUSSIES

As a hardcore fan it hurts Sachin being dropped from One dayers, but seeing the way Ponting hits NZ, SACHIN needs to be sacked permanently from the team for not displaying excellent show inspite of his batting calibre

Just finished seeing Australia decimate the Kiwis. Question is: Is there any team which is capable of beating the Aussie juggernaut? Seems unlikely going by current results.

Well, I could see a ploy by Kiwis to let this match go, firstly they rested in form Shane Bond and Jacob Oram, secondly they were blindly going after the Aussie bowlers. Also Fleming was incorrectly given out, if he was around for 15-20 overs, things would have been different.
From where did ICC pick those Paki umpires?

Anyway, hope NZ will bounce back in Semis and Final and win their first World Cup!

I hope the Oz don't reach the finals itself, but if they do the final should be Aus- SL coz I think only SL can beat (with full strength).

Also if Aus lose this WC they would still be the number 1 team and the final loss would just be an upset for them. Its like '83 whre India beat West Indies.
