WC 2007 : Who are you supporting today.

so finally the tournament kicks off this evening.. busy next 90 days ahead..
your pick for today ( WI Vs Pak ) ..

I think Pak will win .. they have the ability to pull off when they are down.

Me too for Pakistan...but you never know !!!

WC encounters of WI-PAK were always fun, last wicket record in 1979, Walsh not running out Jaffer in 1987 to Lara's 88 Retd and 10 wicket win to Pak despite Ramiz century in 1992...

One thing is sure, it should be fun, Afridi should have added more flavour but unfortunately he is facing ban....

Second you....apart from ability, they always win when the team is in midst of some or the other controversy.Thats their strength...of hitting back with vengeance when everyone else writes them off..
Younis,Yousuf and Inzamam are the three muskeeters.Younis and Yousuf can walk into any WORLD XI based on their performances in last one year.

Windies all the way ....

1. The only contest I'd support Pakistan would be if someone was choosing a nuke test site.

2. (un?) deserved Stereotypes : chilled out , sun n' sand, a joint hangin from your mouth and a coooooooold beer by your side versus .... uhhhh, scratch this....

anyway, i just figured out that the Indian team are some of the bravest souls around ...I mean, it takes guts to be standing in the middle of a field a few thousand miles from home, surrounded by 10 pakis .....and if that's not enough another paki starts running at you full tilt and hurls a round object straight at you..... these poor chaps deserve hazard pay

edit : all said and done, I do wish we'd have an India-Pak match up in the next round...always entertaining especially in the world cup.

Today looks like it will be cake walk for Aussies....
Ken - Can should be interesting but Kenya will take it....It will interesting to see how Alan Davison plays this time...if he shows the same form as 2003 then we might expect some upsets tonight....
