A very Happy Bishu/Ugadhi/Baisakhi/Bihu to everyone.

My office is closed for Souramana Ugadhi today, yet I am at work.

BTW, last week I was told these flowers are very important for Mallus during Bishu, apparently it blooms only during this time. There is a tree in my office backyard. So I clicked it today for the occasion.

Thanks for kani konna as its known in mallu land. You wake up and the first person or scene that you see known as kani kanal, to make it a pleasant/auspicious etc. these flowers come in handy

im in kerala right now..
and unfortunately my first kani was the bus (in which i was traveling)driver paying a fine to a police guy calicut area at 5 :30 today as i was traveling by bus alone
