Thats not the only thing.. i dont think they would be in a position for any offsprings too once they're found.

no i dont think so, in fact another group robbed a jewelry store in abu dhabi few days back.

Well, looks like some, if not all, of them were indeed caught soon after the robbery. Here's some more info on that. Gulfnews: Wafi robbery arrests

What's the punishment they can expect for this kind of "stunt"?

I've heard that the punishments are very severe. People who ogle (not at cars ) get their eyes gouged out, muggers and thieves get their limbs chopped off etc. Do the authorities still mete out this kind of punishment?

Yup, it looked like something out of Ocean's Eleven. Its not that bad in Dubai, Aditya. It Saudi Arabia which has extremely strict laws. They follow the Shariat there. So decapitation, maiming, blinding, stoning etc happens there.
