Ben,

Like someone else suggested, call godrej Hicare. I have used their services to get rid of cockroaches and it worked like a charm.

hondadude : Getting rid of roaches is comparatively easier IMO. Been there, done that.

Get Baygon spray, spray it well inside the shelves, or areas where they are usually found. The process calls for about 2 cans of the spray. Make sure you keep the surroundings clean, and literally gas out all corners and the likes. Would be advisable if you didnt utilize the services of that room for a day or so. Be prepared to remove the dead roaches after this practice. 2 rounds of the same is really effective.

I know this becomes slightly difficult where there are kids and pets around, but take necessary precautions.

HELP !!! Tics taking over my house !!

Guys, Seems we might have a few pest specialists here ... So instead of Ants I have a major issue with tics . My house has been taken over by them ... I kill about 100 tics everyday -- they are on my bed, they are on the walls , they stick to my legs and Ive tried everything that the oc has given me . I even upped the dose to 3times the recomended level, but NO LUCK .

I agree they came in with my baby .... though the strangest thing is that after giving him an Organic bath , they have completely dissapeared of him but they not vanishing from teh house .

Is it time to call in pest control ... but I read they only handle cockroaches and ants and flies but not tics !!!!

Anyone ever have a similar problem ... ???

HELP , before I turn into a tic myself !!!!

These guys deal with all kinds of bugs.
Or you could try taking an organic bath and giving all the sheets an organic bath in the washing machine!
Our dog used to have tics which disappeared after the injection, but never had this tic problem in the house.

Hi!
HIT/LR or any other such preparations contain mostly CYPERMETHRIN a synthetic pyrethroid. it acts on ants ( normal black and red ants but iam not sure of its efficacy on big black ants)
here is the link

No ...no personal experiences but can tell from others, for tics spray baygon in the room and on the bed alternate days for 2 weeks (they have a breeding cycle), show the bedding some sun and keep the house and if you have any pets, clean, they mostly spread from pets or animals.

btw, the 'injection part' was supposed to be joke, in good faith, no offence meant.

'You cant go to heaven (2)
in benny's pants (2)
cos its full of ants.
you cant go to heaven in benny's pants
cos the Lord God has no ant-eatants'

didn't get this point. if your baby has ticks, shouldn't you rather be consulting a doctor? how'd he/she get them in the first place?
maybe it's time for a mattress change..
