Re: 16-year old makes Formula 1 car model out of cardboard boxes for school project

Excellent work and a meticulous effort that reflects in the final outcome.

Best wishes for the (potential) stage 2 project in the future, perhaps at an IIT, using real materials.

By the way, this dude already has a ready content to fill in the Team-BHP registration page!

The part about using only recycled cardboard boxes was also cool. What an amazing hands-on student he is. Kudos and wish him the best for the future.

Wow amazing work by the young enthusiast. Best wishes to him and thanks for sharing.

It's a fitting tribute to The Red Bull Max V victory.

Very meticulously executed by the kid.
I love the detailing on each page of the Project report with custom made Pzero monograms

Absolutely stunning, i do make cardboard models once in a while but they have been mostly buses and trucks. To make a car, and that too a F1 car of such a big scale is stupendous achievement at such young age. Kudos to you buddy.

Thank you again each and everyone and I truly hope that this act of sincere appreciation from all the members of the forum would turn into an inspiration for Aashman!

Would surely convey all your wishes to him!

Thanks a lot gururajrv! In fact Pratap Bose too liked and retweeted his work which was shared on Twitter some time ago.

Will ask Aashman if he would like to join the forum!

I guess Red Bull Racing and Honda would be too busy to get their attention. Did try it on Twitter though.

P.S. Honda fanboy spotted!
And the foot note about Hot Glue!

Hope so Guna! Since he too is an auto enthusiast himself and also into motorsports hopefully, he notices this time around. Will try and tag him again soon.

That surely would require much more patience

Re: 16-year old makes Formula 1 car model out of cardboard boxes for school project

Beautiful breathtaking work! Kudos and congratulations!!
All points from the project report are really well put out. But for me the 2 very important points were.
1. The Design stage wherein measurements were needed and figuring that out. I have worked in ship design and I know how much of a pain that part can be. So just so happy for his dedication and not giving up on one the most difficult part that too upon encountering it at the start of the project.
2. The point regarding wing design. The way he said " it was difficult to stabilize the wing but I figured it out".
Just reading this I pictured what happiness and a sense of achievement he might have experienced when he figured it out. Really wholesome.
This post made my day. Thank you very much for sharing
