My favourite show of all time, which I keep re-watching from time to time is Coupling, and has to be the UK version. Otherwise, every now and again keep going back to Two and a Half Men, but only till season 8 when Charlie Sheen was there. After that it is such a waste of time.

Currently watching a show called Jean Claude van Johnson. Not too bad. Bit too much masala but watchable for now

Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones
Netflix

The new Dave Chappelle special is out on Netflix.
And it is definitely not for the Social Justice Warriors / Snowflakes.
He is satirical, critical and will offend everyone.
The Right wing is appreciating him eviscerating the left and for having the guts to take on subjects that are taboo.

He is currently facing some trouble for comments about Michael Jackson, Louie CK & Trans people that he did on the special.
His Jussie Smolett bit was hilarious.

Do watch.
And of course, it is not suitable for kids.

If you have access, do watch
Cobra Kai
Wayne

on YouTube Premium.

Cobra Kai is what happens after the original Karate Kid finished.
The villain has no job, no life and starts a dojo and becomes a good guy.
Two seasons are available.

Wayne is a laugh riot from first episode to last.
One season is available.

On Netflix, I would recommend Russian Doll
Enjoyed the first season.

Silicon Valley 5/10

Its a typical HBO show, well written and shot nicely. The four nerds bounce off of each others jokes and help keep the comedy values consistent over the seasons.

Big Bang Theory - 4/10

Both of the above shows are favourites for me, especially Big Bang Theory. Can watch endless reruns of this one without ever getting bored. Yes, the series did hit a bit of a flat spot in some of the middle seasons, but I hear that the sign off seasons were pretty bang on. Yet to watch beyond Season 8, so eagerly anticipating those.

As for Silicon Valley, its pretty decent, especially if you can identify to some extent with the much vaunted start-up tech culture. Can see endless similarities with the issues that Indian startups face as well. My favourite character has to be Gilfoyle, whose deadpan expression and dialogues dripping with vicious sarcasm are absolutely brilliant. Also, am a big fan of Monica (Amanda Crew), even though she has a smaller supporting role. Waiting for Season 6 on this one!

Watched "Victim Number 8" on Netflix. Being a Spanish thriller, I expected another one like "Money Heist", but I felt this is not even close. I felt like I was watching a more elaborate version of Malayalam movie "The Truth" that came out in 1998(!!).

Any recommendations for completed shows? Like fully Complete, not just few seasons? I have seen many like breaking bad, prison break and numerous others but still would like suggestions.

Do check out House as well. Heavily recommend it. :D

Have been watching Money Heist on Netflix. First thought 3 parts meant 3 episodes. But realized it was 3 seasons. Was wondering how they can stretch a heist into multiple seasons. But quite engaging and interesting. Original is in Spanish and hence the English dub is a little jarring , but not bad.

The Americans. About a KGB couple spying on US Government during Cold War

Sorry if this is off topic but does anyone watch TV shows at higher speed? Like I watch blacklist at 1.5x speed as I feel the characters speak too slow (especially Redington). I have started doing the same with other downloaded shows too. I start at 1.2x and then gradually increase.

Spader? In quick play? That's blasphemy!! :)
Equivalent to speeding up agent Smith or V that is.

Yes I do, but only when subtitles are available. I watch at 1.2x speeds. I remember watching some boring portions of "Lost" at 1.5 - 1.8 x also.

Anyone watching 'The Fall', Gillian Anderson. Violent and fast paced but I wonder why they make these detective serials such that they seem to be Gods and are able to state the mind and actions of the perpetrators or their history exactly as it happened.. That's a downside I've noticed in many such shows.
