No. I have heard good things about Shield but I am not in a mood right now for another heavy duty crime drama. I am currently watching Californicaton. Light on the senses :)

Ehe. Californication is fun alright. I love Natascha Mcelhone and everything else is fun.

The Shield is one heavy duty drama. Super acting, super story. Do watch it when you feel like.

I will start on The Wire as soon as I finish House Of Cards.

I do have it. All 10 seasons with all episodes. It is currently circulating with one of my friends. Need to get it back

Edd China is tremendous.

For a change, I liked an hindi tv show made by MTVIndia. 'Bring on the night' is a story of 4 friends, who create a nightclub at an abandoned house owned by one of their friends. It's a 10 episode mini-series.

For those who are interested, here is their official YouTube channel where you can watch all the episodes. I'd rate it a deserving 9/10 :thumbs up

Coming to english series, completed 'The Shield'. Another cop drama, and almost as good as 'The Wire'. 10/10 from my side! Now watching 'Fringe'.

"The Shield' is a good show. But it can never be in the leagues of 'The Wire'. The only common factor would be both of them are cop dramas.

Shield is superbly fast paced, it has super dirty cops who specialize in encounters, they deal with million dollars. Its more like NYPD, CSI or Miami Vice. High adrenaline screenplay and relies completely on Chiklis.
The Wire is belongs to a different genre with real cops dealing with real problems. Its a true cop drama with the story as it happens on the streets. The concept of each season concentrating on a perticular social problem is also unique. Its slow paced storytelling at its best dealing with some complex social issues .

Watched the new episode of My Endeavor with Rajeev Khandelval as the host for the episode. The drive was in Arunachal Pradesh getting back to the place where once he had almost drowned in the mighty Brahmaputra.
Loved the camera work, the adventurous ride over the stream engaging the 4x4, taking up the Endy on a boat in the Brahmaputra. The greenery, moist and rainy atmosphere and the innocent faces of the locals made it a superb watch. Rajeev was good, though not great!
I am desperately looking forward to the episode starring Gul Panag :thumbs up

For whoever watched the show "The Killing" there's good news!

Linden and Holder are back as Season 3 is back on air. Episode 1 and 2 are up for grabs from you know where.

I started watching SCANDAL last week. It was slow paced till the first few episodes but yesterday's episode was picking up the pace. The protagonist, Olivia Pope is a confusing character. Sometimes a total badass, sometimes vulnerabe. Looks like the character Quinn Perkins will be interesting down a few episodes. Wikipedia confirms so but I did not read further to keep the suspense alive. The guy acting as the President isn't very effective but again it is too early to tell.

It is a good timepass till my family is back from vacation. After that it'll be the reality shows and not so real drama from the tele-soaps. :mad:

It is just about okie dokie show. No great drama.

Anyone else watching The Amazing Race? Season 22 is nearing end on AXN. I have watched most of the seasons.

The Apprentice Asia is also not bad, though not as good as the US one.

One of the best new dramas of 2012, it is a must watch. It's fast paced, so you won't get bored even for a moment.
