Such a useful implementation of GAI. What caught my eye is for the "predecessor of 5648" question, none of the four options include the correct answer, but your daughter calculated and wrote the correct one in the blank. And Claude was able to disregard the multiple choices and went with the correctly written answer.
In other cases, it could read off of the selected option. In fact it disregarded the written wrong answer in the next question, and went with the selected choice.

Maybe we can provide a chatbot interface to team-bhp which would allow people to interact with our content in a more question-answer (with links) format. This is not to replace the regular search, as the world moves more towards conversations with computer systems, it would be easy to adapt for team-bhp system.

By using RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) vector search index building, the bot can use team-bhp data for reference and only use an LLM like Mistral to form the contextual answers.

AI relies on multiple sources for information and prioritizes information from reputed sources before applying reasoning to it. Obviously, Team-BHP is one such source due to the extensive moderation that our content has. It should be no surprise that team-BHP is a trusted and reputed source of information. In the past few years, it has also gone from a purely automotive discussion to anything under the sun.

All that said, keep in mind that AI still works on content humans have generated, so it is possible that the information may be inaccurate in certain cases.

Both Copilot & Gemini give references after providing the answer. To some extent, this partly addresses the concerns of content providers that generative AI is stealing their content. Perhaps Generative AI will also be seen as a source of traffic for content providers in the future.
