Very very true. I am in a very happy space when I am in the garden. Anything I do there comes out nice.

Where is Jasmine (Mogra)?

Given you location you can also grow Shweta Champa. This is not the regular Champa you see in India. And the Perfume of it will make people go circles trying to find the source. It grows big but you can keep lopping off the top.

And why not a Camellia. Very hardy once established. It is does not need much care provided you get location right (Early morning sun).

I think you can get exotic Hibuscus also which have giant colorful flowers. The ones you have now look like the native ones.

Bougainvillea can quickly become a beast to manage if it finds conditions right !!

Pro tip: Work on soil. Keep adding organic stuff to soil.

My bougainvillea is growing. We planted these just 50 days ago. Jasmine is growing already at the back of the house. If you scroll up and see the previous posts, you can see pictures of the exotic Hibiscus varieties. Thank you.

I did a recent round of neem cake application for the plants. Summer has arrived and the plants are taking in more water. Overall I have seen good growth and it is a very peaceful hour to 90 minutes that i spend there every morning.


Attatching some pictures that i have shot recently. I am planning to install some solar lights in the space so as to create some ambient lighting there.

This is a very recent hobby, but, one which gives me phenomenal happiness.
My wife's first anniversary was on November 11 th. I started this gardening journey on the same day. My wife loved flowers a lot. This is my humble way of doing something which my wife liked.
Almost 4 months down the line, I must say I am pretty happy.

With summer almost here, my garden is in full bloom. After a recent round of fertilizer application, I can proudly say, I have lost only one plant out of 120.I must be doing something correct.
