Schumacher's donation towards Tsunami!!

I was watching NDTV the other day and one off the running news strip (at the bottom of the screen" said "Schumacher donates 10 Million USD towards Tsunami relief fund.

Now 10 Million USD is 1 crore dollars, multiply that with what ever the current USD rate is. Lets say 45, so that would make it.........45 crore rupees????

have i made a mistake somewhere........

All i can say is, WOW!!

Article on Schumacher's donation....... Read it to believe it.

10 Million USD is a lot, especially when one of the rishest men in the world (Bill Gates) donated just 3 Million.

I heard Infosys donated 5 crore rupees.

Michael Schumacher -
Selfish when he is supposed to be, while on the race track and generous when he is supposed to be, while helping the needy. Good man!
Humanity is all about love, passion and understanding for each other. If you can give, please do.

schumi has shown his softer side.
mabbe Schumi was shocked by the loss of his body guard.

this body guard and his 2 sons died in the tsunami in Phuket where they were holidaying.
this had cum in yesterday's TOI.

Its a very good gesture to donate so much to the Tsunami victims. Wonder whether it was Schumacher's personal contribution or Ferrari had something to do with it. Btw.. not come across but even Sachin and other cricketers should give something..

10 million USD to Tsunami. Thats's such a generous contribution from Schumi. I have always been a MS fan and this gesture had just shot up my respect for him. He has it he gives it. Thats why the world loves him so much. I knew he would donate a substantial amount. Hes also part of the UNESCO where he donates money for charity.

Michael Schumacher I salute you and Sachin learn something

A salute from me to Michael Schumacher. He also plays regular football matches to raise funds, he is surely kind person from inside. Theres another person, Steve Waugh, ruthless from outside but so kind from inside. He opened school or something for handicapped children in Calcutta and also for children suffering from leprosy.
These are the persons who sets the example.
Lets see how cricketers are gonna raise from the upcoming match on 10th Jan at MCG Australia, Asia XI vs World XI.

There can be only one Michael Schumacher. And with this donation, I believe that he is the single largest individual donater toward the Tsunami.

Michael Schumacher is and always was the person who donated the highest amounts to charity every year more than any other sportsperson in the world or for that matter any other person. He has even won awards for donating to charity every year.
