oh God,

can't think of a reason for the young boy to committ suicide ? It was an accident afterall and whatever the damages to the other car...(owned by someone who doesn't and shouldn't care for the repair cost) is no reason or justification for whatever happened.

Feel so sad after reading this post, so unfortunate ...loss of a life over a small accident...unimaginable..

Nevertheless, Deve Gowda should be held accountable for the actions of his goons. Just like in Europe, soccer teams are accountable for the actions of their fans.

Wont happen in our country, with our politicians and with our police. A life is gone but for the politicians, life goes on.

Sad to read this. I wonder when India will finally be cured of all this political mess.

When we were kids our teachers used to say we were the future citizens of the country and each of us had an important role to play. Made me very proud. I wonder what they would say to the kids now.

How does this guy manage to stay in power though?

May your soul rest in peace Ramesh.

Deve Gowda has not even given the statement in Public that he is very sorry fo theincident had happened. This shows that how these people are misbehaving with public (our) money. Disgusting is the word comes to my mind right now.

Shameless and Useless politicians like this should be beaten to death till they vomit the public money they ate in their entire career. He should be made to pay the compensation for Ramesh's loss to his family members. Hope some Private News Channel (media) takes up the issue.

This happens only in India!!!

Politicians =Rowdies/Goundas, they do what ever they want and get away easily, whatever has happened is SHOCKING! They could have just given a simple warning and let him go, dint had to terrorize and demand such a huge sum, not that gowda has a cash crunch

Incidents as these will continue untill these kind of politicians voted! like Centro pointed... vote with their brains!

This country has NO-HOPE till these kind of politicians exist....!

They still say the same to kids. But the thing is School going kids don't end up in politics. You see EDUCATION and POLITICS don't mix. Thats why we have THUGS ruling us.

Apparently with the news of this incident filtering out, cops came to provide security to the 'humble farmer's' house.

The deceased's family now says that no force was used upon them to pay up.
