Scorpio joins bollywood.

Yes, the mighty muscular scorpio sizzles with dia mirza in acid factory music video!

have a look here.

what next mahindra?

function over form - good thinking

what ive done is to bolt on the solid 4WD Scorpio Towhook behind my rear bumper - the idea was to have a towhook ready in case during rains and other tough times it becomes necessary to help others by towing them out.

However, this vicious looking towhook unfailingly deters idiot indicas and so on from coming too close because it just out a bit and in case they come into contact with it, their bonnets and radiators are the things that will bear the brunt and suffer.:D

Thanks Anup, Raj and Nip.

Nip: I have put bars for protecting the bumpers and not for anything else. 'Looks' have never been a priority and at the age of 38, I tend to look more at function than form. But believe me, the traffic I drive in, the bars are a must. Have already been rear ended twice and found people are scared to cut in front, even in traffic, because of the bars. This results in smoother tension free drives since I am the one cutting in others' way now !!

Those are some really nice pics. A mudplugging suv is always a looker. I really like the old Scorpio look compared to the new one which looks more like 'a wannabe in skirts'..!

Your black Scorpio in black cladding looks very handsome.

Cheers,
J

funny you should say this - its almost exactly the way I expressed my thoughts on the new Scorpio/ new Bolero which has those odd looking front stuck on mudflaps on the bumpers in front of the wheels.

Thanks for the compliments Jay. Black has always been the color of choice for me. I couldn't agree more with you on the looks. Though I am a big Scorpio fan, I think the newer versions could use a face lift to lose the "skirts" :)

Thanks Kiren. I have seen some very good scorpios on this thread.
I have been toying with the idea of selling this one off and getting myself a newer scorpio, but the looks of the newer ones (compared to this model) have been putting me off. So I decided to wait a little longer and give my scorpio a little newer (read younger :)) look. Considering that 65K KM I have done is just a warm up for this beast based on what I have seen on this forum, I have just decided to hold on to this for some more time.

I am thinking of some minor mods to the exterior, and will post the pictures soon to this thread.

Cheers.

That is right Raj. The fuel and engine temp gauge is digital.

The site says so, but wonder why there are no adverts and they are so hush hush about it. Also has any member test driven one or bought one. No reviews.
