How can you possibly think of such things - "interference"??

You are most welcome to contribute and please keep on doing so.
This thread is certainly open for every member of the T-BHP community.
One does not need to own a Scorpio for eligibility to contribute!! :)

Agreed!

Agreed, keep it coming gowda.

Right, then, that is settled. The only thing we discourage is monkey business, like this:

So, let us get on with pics for this page.
Here are a few from the recent trip.

Stayed in a quaint very 'woody' place called Shringi Vatika.
Lovely terraced garden, flowers a-plenty and a river in full spate gushing down below!
My biggest grouse was that there was no parking area and my poor Scorpio had to be left on the side, dangerously close to the narrow road. Luckily the road does not see much traffic.
This place is at Ghiyagi, 12 kms from the Jalori Pass (towards the Kullu valley side).

All the best to get one. :D

Thanks, mansidea.
In the spirit of what a touring vehicle should be doing, why don't you also please post some pics?! :)

And, of course, a 4WD does allow that slightly enhanced experience in terms of really 'going as you please'. But, believe me, the only time 4WD was required on this trip was for the Krishna Temple. That too only because it had been raining and there was deep slush at many places.

jav, welcome!
While you might be liking the pics, think about this: It is always prudent to find out what issues were encountered during and after each trip, with regard to the vehicle. That is the info I have always been most keen to elicit from users of any car.

I can answer that for myself so far: no issues at all, no niggles and blips. That, to me is a very important attribute.

its a sticker like thing which would be pasted onto the pillars. if you notice, all manufacturers like maruti, toyota, skoda have opted for vinyls for blackening the pillars in swift, innova, fabia, etc...

..

OK, point taken. So let's make a new rule: Just see/enjoy the pics. No comments required!! How does that sound?
And if you post a few pics, maybe I'll get a chance to say something! :)

no mate, i am sorry if i offended you. your pics deserve a praise, no kidding this time. nobody here is commeting on your pics because they ought to, its just that we all feel that your pics are truly awesome.

C'mon Raj! I don't take offence so easily!!
I'm serious too. It does waste many posts when everyone feels obliged to comment on how beautiful the pics are!

So how about some from you? Gimme a chance to comment!
I'm only waiting for a 'decent' interval before uploading the next lot! :D

I am so outdated !!! I thought those manufacturers had something special which only they could do.

So tell me, where can I get this done?

Thanks in advance.

You're not alone, but you ARE a trifle late!
When I first saw these black pillared things, I assumed it was something only the makers could do! Then, one day, at Kasol, a black pillared Innova parked right next to me and I could see some of the 'black pillar' coming un-stuck!! :Shockked:

That's when I started checking them all out and realized it's all done with a wee bit of vinyl!

Hey, RK, in all fairness I ought to tell you this plan stands revised.
Why? Because it has now been decided to do it at the most exciting time - a week or so after the road is declared open! ie. end May/early June next year.
