Truly amazing pics!

I have few questions

1. How much is the post processing effort ? I mean how much proficiency one need in photoshop for such effects ?

2. Why don't you start a thread in Shifting Gears for people like us who also like to experiment with their cameras?

3. What is the specification of camera at the time of shoot?

amazing ... i have been wanting to ask this..Rudra, do you take coaching classes in post processing or can i request you to take classes for us photo illiterate ones..i am just amazed how you can bring those clear sharp lines of the car and such beautiful reflections.

On both Riju and your car, did you use HDR?

I'm doing these kinda stuff for a long and it's part of my profession.

I don't know if that's the right way. However one can surely start a thread and put up issues/ways for discussion.

Rudra_Sen, hope you don't mind me asking a 'dumb' question.

What is the point of it all? If I saw a photograph of the car with all the processing done and then saw the car in reality, I'm bound to be disappointed. The photographs are all amazing and I don't mean to take anything away from them. Is this processing for the sake of processing? I realize this sounds impolite but the cars look 'artificial'.

Please treat this as a question from somebody who is trying to understand the nuances of photography and understand how much processing is required.

hrag, i bet you will find Rudra's car in the same way as you see in the photograph. i mean the unblemished body paint..
Beauty of the shot is if you stand at the very same spot where the photograph was taken, you would see the same picture.. Another problem is overcast conditions make it more difficult to shoot because of very less light and information from the object. you may have to bump up ISO and that induces noise. If you see the pic, its not just PP its composition and handling of light that makes it a good photograph in the first place.. PP only enhances it... just my thoughts..

Huh! Actually I wait for overcast conditions to photograph cars. I don't even pull my camera out to shoot cars if sun is in the open, especially darker cars. Of course, I learnt that from Rudra.
