My present collection in various levels of 'emptiness' for want of a better word:
1. Davidoff Horizon EDT.
2. YSL La Nuit De L'Homme EDT.
3. Hugo Boss Bottled Night EDT.
4. Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Intense EDT.
5. Mont Blanc Legend EDT.
6. Carolina Herrera 212 EDT.
7. DKNY Delicious Red EDT.
8. Dolce & Gabbana The One EDT.
9. Issey Miyake Nuit D'Issey EDP.
10. Paco Rabanne One Million EDT.
11. Dior Sauvage EDP.
12. Dior Homme Sport EDT.
13. Terre de Hermes EDT.
14. Azzaro Chrome Legend EDT. (Not in the pic).
There are a few more which are almost empty.
My take on my collection.
My favourite is the Hermes, the One and One Million.
None of them last as long as I would like it to, except the CH 212 which seems to last really long. I wear the perfumes mostly on my clothes, very little on the pulse points and a bit on my hair before combing.
Most compliments I have received from people has been for the most unassuming Azzaro Chrome. I find it too sweet.
The ones I don't like are the Horizon and the Boss night. Surprising because the other perfumes I have tried from Davidoff and Hugo have been really good.
I always pick up 100 or 125 ml which I now realize is a huge mistake, after many many bottles over the past 20 or so years stupid:. I should buy either 50 ml or 75 ml at the most. I get bored of a perfume pretty quickly and move on and hence my huge collection.
Got the Rasasi LaYuqawam recently and it smells amazing! Anybody here who uses Tobacco Blaze?
Bought Santos by Cartier; priced at about 8100 for 100 ml. Almost all stores in Kolkata were selling at same price except Shoppers Stop near City Centre 2; some Pujor discount and got it at 7200 bucks.
Got Pure Malt after a long hard search. Smells divine in cold weather. Boozy and the dry fruits dry down is just on another level!
Winter is here and I would strongly recommend this.
Received this today. Very bold fragrance.

Easily the best fragrance I ve enjoyed in a long time. Been buying it in those twin travel packs of 50ml EDT since 2013. It’s my favourite too.:)
A few branded perfumes in my closet that I started to like in the order it is listed below:
- Amouage Interlude EDP (tried it in a store few days ago and instant purchase made but I’m yet to open the box. This is love at first sniff)
- Burberry London EDT
- Jaipur Homme by Boucheron EDT
- CK One by Calvin Klein EDT
- TH Bold by Tommy Hilfiger EDT
- CK Be by Calvin Klein EDT
- Grey Flannel by Geoffrey Beene EDT
- Versace Eros EDT (not in picture)
Apart from the list above I still have a special interest towards the TN product Javadhu

I have never bought it outside Tamilnadu so I can’t really comment.
However as my very first Javadhu post in this forum stated, you can get Javadhu from any khadi gramodyog bhavan or probably a Khadi Nation shop as well. Searching google shows a quite a few shops in and Bangalur where you can try your luck!
Guys i need help!
I am planning on gifting a perfume to my fiancée. Her birthday is coming up. I have no idea about perfumes. I get very confused.
Please suggest a list so that i can go and sample them this weekend. It should not be sweet. How is Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana?

I tried and gifted Burberry London to wife last year and Elizabeth Arden Beauty to sister this year. Both are not the sweet and fruity kind and ones that will not divide opinions. I found Versace bright crystal as a light perfume and slightly sweeter but not overtly so.

You could look at My Burberry Black, a brilliant fragrance with an amber and patchouli heart while also having those sweet fruity notes. Must try!
Bought this from UCB in December, from Lifestyle. They had some offer running and I got this for Rs. 1520/- or so.
Not too strong and I like it. Still not able to gauge how long it lasts, think it's for 2-3 hours. The selection of perfume is such a time consuming & confusing activity for me - I was looking for something in the sub 3K range and I hardly liked anything I tried.
Do we really have to spend above 3K for a good perfume? Another one I like is Davidoff Coolwater, but that's again Rs. 4.5K or so at duty-free shops in Airports.
