Been there, done that. Had the same issue with my 1993 Mazda Protege, back in 2003. A flat tire, and almost 2 hours of trying to get the tire off (all that, with the temperature around 30F). I was all of 140lbs at that time, and the rusted nuts & bolts didn't help 1 bit.
Along came my 247lbs friend, and one jump on the wrench, and creeaakkkkk....creeakkkkk.!! the bolt turns, and off it comes! 4 more jumps, and all the bolts came undone.
15 mins later,I was at the Walmart supercenter, getting the tire fixed.45 mins later, the repaired tire was on. Few minutes later,I was back indoors, trying to bring my nose & lips back to life. Some single malt came in handy! |
