Saw No time to Die.

My first movie in a movie hall since Corona broke out. Was an excellent experience.

People were saying there is less action but I found it quite good with lots of action. Much better than Spectre which is weakest of all Bond movies. Although there was no reason to end it the way they did but this being his last movie they had to. Will be interesting to see who is the next Bond as Craig suited the role all these years.

You can watch it on Lionsgate, which is now available with Amazon prime

Watched Knives Out (2019) on Lionsgate (available with Amazon Prime). Its a hilarious muder mystery and Daniel Craig just steals the show

After not going to a movie theatre in 2 years, went thrice in 3 weeks! :)

No Time To Die: Worth it. Very good finale to Craig's stint with the role. But very weak villian again.

Shang-Chi: Time-pass. Visually engaging, but don't go out of your way to watch it. Worth a watch for an otherwise empty afternoon.

Dune: Surprisingly good. Went expecting to snooze, but remained engaged. Visually beautiful. Good adaptation of the novel. I've read the book, but not a fan and still found it interesting. If you're a fan of the book, this movie is definitely worth the watch. But if you don't care for the intricate sort of sci-fi movie, probably give it a miss. It's very long for someone who doesn't care for that sort of film. And this is just part 1. Don't think it'll stay in theaters for long though. I do hope part 2 gets made.

Have always loved Shyamalan's movies and was looking forward to this one but was disappointed. Starts to get interesting but then looses steam. Recommend you not to watch the trailer or read any reviews/synopsis as that gives away the plot.

Rating - 2/5

Night Teeth on Netflix

Underworld has set an expectation for Vampire movies. Avoid this one. I watched it at 1.25x but still felt a waste of time.

Have yo watched Lost Boys, then? That was the masterclass considering when it came out. But yeah, Kate Beckinsale does set the bar in the stratosphere!

Trailer looked promising.
Movie was a big dud.
Netflix as usual makes only 1 good movie out of 5.
Avoid this one.

"Lost in Translation" . The best movie i have ever watched. Period.

The Harder They Fall - Netflix

Please avoid. Watching this at 1.25x speed also didn't help.

Thanks for the recommendation. I haven't seen it yet.

Caught Eternals at the Cinema last weekend. Best to avoid this one and just watch it on Hotstar to stay abreast with the storyline. Badly written, badly executed that even Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek could not save the movie.

Rating 1/5

Watched Dune (2021) last week.
A must watch for those who have read the novel which is a cult science fiction in itself.
I would recommend the Dune (Mini series of 2000) before watching the latest movie attempt.

Dune: 4.5 / 5

A visual treat (think Avataar) - this movie. Even if you haven't read the book (like me), it's worth the money to watch this on the big screen. Amazing visuals - Denis Villeneuve has done a fantastic job bringing the book to reality in a manner that takes the focus away from the star-cast to the overall movie setup instead.

My only wish - I wish I had read the novel before seeing the movie. Well, I can get that done before part 2 (and maybe more) gets made.

Anybody here salivating about December-17 release of Spiderman No-way home?
(particularly after some images :Cheering: were leaked in Instagram recently)

No? Maybe its only me, then :disappointed

Hahaha I know of several on my Twitter timeline who are eagerly awaiting the next trailer (with the expected spoilers), including me.

More than the images, hope you got to see the extremely bad quality cam version of the interviews of the actors (aimed at Chinese audiences apparently) - especially one of the interview (and interviewee) is interesting.

;)
