This suggestion could be slightly impractical but I'd like to make it anyway.
During official car reviews, I've observed that generally the top-end variants are given for review (any manufacturer would want the best one to be reviewed). There are quite a few features that are different in the top-end variant as compared to mid and low. Now, I'm talking about ABS, Airbags etc. but more visible features like say the centre console with factory-fitted music player etc.
Can you guys include such features that are there in the top-end but not in the low and mid-end in your reviews?
PS : Agree it is not very practical so no problemo if this can't be done.
Official new car review of Ritz is missing in the section. Ritz was the first car to be reviewed that way I guess, how did we miss out? :)
Guys, can we look at removing A S S from the list of banned words? Not always does a person type it as A.S.S.
Also, any plans of involving members in the vehicle review process?

It isn't even rude, except in America. In English, it is a donkey. Oh, as well as the obvious meaning in the context of our forum
I would like to have a LIKE button under the posts . ( Just like the face book ) or even a I DONT LIKE button in addition to that .
This will achieve to avoid load on the server ( limiting traffic ) created by the following
1) replies containing a) I like this Idea , b) congrats ( on new buy etc ) , c) showing acceptance to theory put by a member
2) replies containing , a) dislike , b) I don't support this , c ) non acceptance
Many times if I liked an Idea / concept & I want to convey that to the person posting it , then I don't have a choice but to post a fresh reply ( just for few words ) it is a headache
Is this possible ?

It has been under discussion only recently and is, I think, under consideration.
The kind of posts you mention are actively discouraged under the single-liner rule. They are, however, thoughts that one could sort of express by clicking a thank-you.

It is present for the threads. It would be too clumsy to have it for individual posts.

I guess thats only for Facebook and will not get reflected in our site.

this is the root of another problem , people post 4 lines ( as alternate route ) where only one line is required .
My suggestion is to reduce traffic .
also the Like Button mentioned by Gandhi is related to FB , not for the purpose I suggested

Like/Unlike Post Button. Not sure whether this has been mentioned before, but I think its a real cool feature to have. Can reduce spamming marginally instead of useless "Thats great!", "I like that" kinda one liner comments. If you guys feel it useful
Here is a reference from another forum. |

I have brought up this topic quite some time back and got "thoroughly" rejected :D I still feel it can marginally reduce spamming, but many feels it will compromise the weighted look of the forum :)

Hi Gandhi, posts chosen for multi-quote don't remain selected forever. The system cleans up all older, unquoted posts periodically.
And there's a short-term solution too. Say, you choose 5 posts for multi-quoting on a thread, but eventually don't use them. Then, you are replying on another thread. On the "Go Advanced" posting interface, right below the content entry box, you'll see a line that goes "
You have selected XX post(s) that are not part of this thread. Quote these posts as well, or deselect these posts.". Simply click "deselect these posts" and voila, all the other posts are removed from your multi-quote list. Attaching a screenshot as well:

Thank you! This will be implemented. I'll go a step further and tell you that an interactive screen will be developed, where you can compare the equipment levels of different variants of the same car, and others!
BTW, if there is any abnormal omission from the lower variants, it's always brought to the reader's attention. Example : Read up my VW Vento review and comments on the base variant.

Leads to way too much clutter; we like it simple. If you see any zero-value one line posts, please bring it to our attention via the
Reporting Post functionality. We'll look into it ASAP.
Can we have a glossary of the abbreviations used in our forum. For e.g.; IMO, IIRC, ICE etc…
Note: If there is already a thread / URL available, please let me know

Few times BHP support has also suggested me this .
Well evaluating others is THE most difficult thing for me , IMHO every adult has his own thought & I (at least ) cant measure its value . Pardon me
Another reason is , I don't want controversies ,
At the most I will say true/false , acceptable or not , like or dislike .
