I hope this reverts back to the old way as it is getting very difficult and time consuming on a small screen to scroll down entirely from the top of the last page to the last post just to read/reply to the latest post.
@Mods; Can we please know if this is a new feature or a bug ?
This is how I see the home-page right now, from my laptop (browser is Chrome). Mismatch between thread titles and pictures. Is it only me? please:

Seeing the same issue on my laptop with windows 10. On my Android phone this issue isn't there. On both devices the browser is chrome

The go to last post link doesn't work on user cp. It only goes to the last page now. Is that a new functionality or an issue? |
Fairly annoying this is. I see a post on either the user CP or the new post page and when I click on it it takes to the top of the last page which in many cases would be a very old post. I hope it is a bug and not a new feature.
A new skin in the works? :)

Is it possible to highlight the thread starter in each thread?
When a thread goes into multiple pages, it is easy to forget who started the thread. I have seen other forums where the forum-handle of the member who started the thread is highlighted in some way when they participate further in the thread.
Thanks and cheers

It’s working for me, so there’s probably something wrong on your end. Maybe refresh the page?

Nope, quite strange! All other news article links to forum discussions work, but not this one.
I'm using Chrome on Android 10 - don't know if it's something specific to this combination. If it's working for most folks, then it must be something with my phone.
Would be great to have a option to save good posts like we can do on Facebook. Sometimes we come across good stuff that will be handy someday and bookmarking on a browser is limited to that device.

Yes, please restore it to the older manner of taking us to the last post. |

JFYI guys, the
"Last Post" feature has been
restored.

May I suggest that there be a separate section within the Shifting Gears section for Investments? There are a lot of investment related threads that have wealth of information and sometimes, it becomes a bit of a hassle to search for a particular thread, if one doesn’t remember the keywords.
Edit:
Apologies if this has been discussed and decided against in the past.
Please feel free to delete this post if this suggestion is against the forum standards.

Thanks a lot for the update.
@Mods; I really appreciate the fact that you guys looked into this issue and solved it even though the people who wanted this feature were hardly any. A big thank-you from my side. Feels so good to be part of a forum where the mods and members stay connected so closely.
Just a suggestion, Wouldn't it be great to have a 'quote option' when we select some text with the cursor.
I've seen this feature on several forums that I have visited.
I have got this error quite a few times in the past few days. It never used to happen earlier.
