OT: Does it make sense for a single child of parents to take such risks? I mean bike riding etc. I know accident can happen to anyone at anytime but still his parents would have thought otherwise.

There are some things parents can't control. No offence meant, but I suggest we leave this discussion out from this thread, as a mark of respect to the departed.

The 'Dragon' does have some good stretches, but many experienced riders have gone down on those roads. Call it bad luck, call it anything you like.
