Friends, actually a video clip of a KLM B747-400 landing at the St. Martin is available in WWW.

http://www.flightlevel350.com/viewer.php?id=765

Also don't miss this; A321 landing aborted at the last moment at Lisbon. Just INCREDIBLE. Dude used all his available BHP......!

http://www.flightlevel350.com/viewer.php?id=116

There are numerous other vids in this site (flightlevel350.com); PLEASE note that I am not associated with this site in any manner.....

Great Pics. The last picture looks like as if the plane took off from the sea.

I was actually planning a trip to SXM (Princess Juliana Airport / St.Marteen Islands). But I canceled my plan when I came to know that I need they come under the dutch which is why I will need a visa. I always thought that they were part of the American territory. I was wrong!

Half the island is under dutch control and the other half under French control.

Cheers

A couple of pictures of Gibraltar runway which is built on the reclaimed land and stretches from blue (East) to blue (West). Interestingly, the runway also acts as the main road connecting Gibraltar to Spain.

Some more Gibraltar Airport Pics

Guys,

Here are some more pics of the Gibraltar airport runway. I hope I have uploaded them fine. Interesting part is that the runway and the city roads have common crossroads at one junction and apparently there are actually signals being used to stop traffic when planes are on the runway.

Enjoy!!
