The two spoke alloy bothered me a little, but considering the lighweight body, it shouldn't be a problem.

The Mileage is about 2 meters per one puff of breath. Your breath/mileage may vary. The secret of this superior FE is the lightness of the wheels (unsprung weight), hence less torque is needed to move it.

When I picked up my son from school, he gave me the bad news. One jealous kid in his school had destroyed the Jeep before my son reached school today. It was kept in the cupboard yesterday with all other project work models.

So his teacher only got to see this totalled model. My son says he won't get any marks because the teacher never saw the Jeep intact. I am planning to take that up with his teacher.

I guess it was an important lesson for my kid about real life. Vandals are everywhere, even in 3rd grade.

Samurai, Just show/give the link to the teacher. She will just see all the pic, design, video and everything will be fine.

The teachers here are not Internet savvy. I'll just send the photographs.

Thanks, I am just a monkey behind camera. First set was shot using Panasonic FX-36 ultra compact P&S camera. The totalled shots were shot using Olympus E-500 dSLR camera.

Oh man she is indeed totaled! I think you can salvage the axle and start with a newer-better body?

Such is life!

Hi Sharath

Sorry to note that your Son's car model was destroyed
please take it up with his teacher such that his (& yours) efforts are rewarded.

look at the good side, you have the photogrpahs and the comments in this forum which your son can cherish when he grows up to adulthood.

cheer up both of you.

R.I.P.

That was one of the fastest acquisition to destruction thread. Any chance you had this comprehensively insured?

Perhaps this kid hails from a family of auto-journalists, both work for some "desi" English TV channel?
