It's worth to hire good interior designer. Joy is basically from kerala. If you need any kind of help dont hesitate to call him. He will be very helpful for your general doubts as well. He might refer you to good designer nearby your place. PM me for more details.

Both these snaps are from outside his apartment.
With your budget what you got is really worth it. Your house looks great with those designs.Lighting effect and color combination is too good. When did you do this?

This apartment was done about 1.5 yrs back @ around 6L including masonry work (lots of walls were broken down and created). This includes the cost of all the artifacts too.

This is an all inclusive cost @ Surat.

Children's cum Parents room (parents come 2 times a year for 1 month) got yellow color. I wanted lots of storage space in this room beacuse of 2 kids. I got more than expected storage space with computer table and dressing table as well . Door looks too good in flesh. I will try to take photo in different angle and post.

Whole makeover looks nice. I love the raw look of the main door, old design. Is it the final design or are you planning any finishing touch to the door. I suggest to leave the raw look and do some traditional style touch to the outside wall around the main door.

Have look at these pics for some ideas - these are traditional Kerala architecture - Something unique in your part of the world!!

I also like the additional frame put around the windows, now it looks bigger. Are you going to cover it when you put curtain?
