Hope nobody was injured seriously in this incident.

My office is hardly 1/2 a km away from this place. We heard a loud blast which shook our glass panes. The power went off at the same instant. We thought it was a transformer that got short circuited.

Reports says 16 injured. Many have been shifted been shifted to hospitals. One kid is critical.

My mother just gave me a call and told me that another blast has taken place in Hebbal, as reported by TV 9. Stay safe guys. Stay indoors for a few more hours!

No confirmation yet apart from the scroll running in tv9.

Another news that it was a hoax. Hopefully it is infact a hoax

edit : just heard. The Police Commissioner has confirmed that the hebbal blast news is hoax.

It appears that blast in Hebbal was cylinder blast.

Coincidentally 2010 Chinnaswamy blasts and today's both happened on April 17th. I was scrolling through this thread and happened to see the dates.

Is that a coincidence or is there some reason.Both however are at the time of IPL but todays blast is near the BJP office.
