I bet he is punched for the next match and torres back..
Ofcourse the Spanish will take it home.
It was the crappiest game of the tournament.
The German team was appaling resorting back to their arrogance. Klose had only one thing in mind.
Despite the fact that Spain was better than Germany they have nothing to bragg about.
This was the turnoff game of the century.
These guys need a pay cut.

Mr. Spitfire Where Art Thou????? I guess you busy biding farewell to your team!!!!:D
This is what happens when you play selfishly. have you people watched Pedro trying to make it to glory all by himself and giving to Torres.
Watch out Spain as Netherlands does not do that kind of rubbish.
Germany was defensive from the 1st minute.
As i predicted before Podolski and Klose was no where to be seen.
Xavi was outstanding controlling he whole mid field. The corner kick that was converted was spot on. Puyol was at the right place at right time

This did not go into extra time, they were already on the last minute of extra time, thats why it was so crucial. It was penalties after that and Uruguay won the penalties.
Very disappointing. After the drubbing they gave to Argentina, this was least expected. Spain were all over the Germans which were defensive from the first minute (may be overcome by the gravity of the occasion, no one expected them to reach semi's). Absence of Muller also made a difference.
The Germany-Spain match was a drab affair. I tuned in to watch the match, and the way both teams played in the first half was so boring, choosing to just pass the ball among themselves! Since i was already tired from a long day at work, and add to that a boring match, i feel asleep in the bean bag, only to wake up at 4 AM, and realize i had dozed off.
This morning, i come to know Spain won. Good for them, and me.. as my money is still riding on 'em. :D
Between, where's Spitfire? He kept on saying, go Germany go.... and they went! :uncontrol
Paul the Octy did 'em in. Germans go on defensive from minute-1 is the effect of "Octoscope prediction". Spaniards seemed to have found their rhythm, except the Pedro-Torres No-pass episode at the goal-mouth.
Go Spain Go. This time is for Espana...
Past 15 minutes in the first half, Spain had 70% possession. Because of this it was a very boring affair. Both the teams were very defensive in the first half. In the second half, Spain played better and secured Victory. Germans paid the price for being too defensive and nervous. Germans were way off mark and lacked the zest they showed against Argentina. They just hoped they could find a goal somewhere and their moves were very slow. However its bye bye Germans.
Spain was better side from the start, Germans seemed to be running low on confidence thanks to that eight legged freak.Whatever Spaniards were treat to watch. Now waiting for Sneijder vs Villa...
I disagree, the match was steady and good to watch though definitely not scintillating. The Spanish were immaculate in their passing and dominated the first half. The scoring was low since both teams had good defense.
The germans sorely missed Mueller with no feeding happening from midfield to strikers. But were it not for Pedro's utter selfishness spain/Torres would have got another.

agree:. this was such a boring match. Germany were nowhere close to the team they were at the start of this tournament.
Now the final is interesting. None of the finalists have won it before, so both the teams will have nothing to lose.

Oops! My bad. How did I miss it. Yeah, this incident happened at the end of the second extra period and then the match went to penalties. Thanks Hemant for pointing it out

I am missing him too. :D. Time for another picture Mr. Spitfire.
The game was far from a classic, but paaned out as expected. Tight, with pitched midfield battles, and loads of possession for Spain. The Germans looked (and are, despite the 13 goals) toothless against a midfield which can keep the ball like that. As far as the La Roja were concerned, they looked more threatening throughout and were better than in the quarters. Finishing still lacked the punch, but I ain't complaining. Strange thing was that the Germans did not at all try to intimidate the more diminutive Spanish, no physicality from either side, no rash challenges (bet Van Bommel won't be so generous). Feel the Germans missed a trick there. They don't have the wherewithal yet to outplay the Spanish in a purely footballing contest, the Spanish are technically far superior. I had predicted a Oranje-La Roja finals on FB before the tourney as the dream final. It is so.....:D.
According to me, Spain vs Germany match was one of the most technical game i've seen. There was only game , no rubbishes and all. There were no single yellowcard given. And Spain deserved to that victory.
It was boring still I managed to watch the entire match.
1. There was no passes to strikers in Germany camp.
2. I guess Podolski/somebody missed a very tight opportunity when the ball was volleyed from left forward. Cassias saved it otherwise Germans would have taken the lead. Spain also missed a very near opportunity when Villa dived but could not guide the ball into the net.
3. Pedro was hopeless and I hope he would be not be anywhere to be seen in the final.
4. Villa was not effective due to good defense Germans had. He had couple of good passes but was not able to continue the possession.
5. Xavi was brilliant and was feeding the forward quite well.
I hope final would be fun to watch. Netherland also has capable midfield and good defense. I want the final to go into panlties stupid:
