does anyone have ebook for Das Perfume...checked the movie it was brilliant...really wanted to read this book..searched entire CP could not find it anywhere..!

Currently reading > Bill Bryson - A short history of nearly everything.

And it is just amazing ! It covers everything right from chemistry , physics, astronomy, geology, life sciences and everything in between. Bryson tries to be as informative as possible without being too technical.

There might be books with better and more detailed information out there, but I am sure none will be more readable than this one.

Really good book

The best adventure travel book I have read is Full Tilt by Dervla Murphy. An Irish woman's account of a bicycle ride from Dunkirk to Delhi - alone. In 1963. She passed Europe in winter and covered Pakistan to India in summer!! Quite a feat.
Currently reading iCon - the unauthorised biography of Steve Jobs.

Still love reading Tom Sharpe's books. Full of fun.

Yeah. I guess they deliberately named it like that. But all said and done, it's not easy for a non-technical person like Steve Jobs to cobble up a company like Apple, take it to the top, then get thrown out and then come back again and pull the company out from the brink of collapse and launch some of the greatest products of the century like iPod, iMac and now iPhone.
But I think his greatest contribution is in making the computer into a lifestyle product, rather than just a staid machine that could calculate very fast. And of course the iPod that revolutionised the way music is listened to. The walkman in the 80s was the last such revolution.
Steve Jobs in my definition is the greatest showman alive on earth today.

uh-oh! and i always thought that forrest gump was the one who made apple. :)

I just finished reading- Echo Burning by Lee Child. It's a superb book and one of my favorite characters ( Jack Reacher-ex US Military Guy). I really liked all books by Lee Child, do give it a try guys.

Right now i am reading- The Second Saladin by Stephen Hunter.
