I have read every book from David Baldacci so far and Camel Club is not one of his best. There are much better books from his earlier days. Also, the sequel to Camel Club is much better. Check it out.

Recently finished Peter Hamilton's Night's Dawn Trilogy (The Reality Dysfunction, Neutronium Alchemist, The Naked God). Fantastic books if you are interested in Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres. Each book is around 1100 pages. In US, they were released as six books with each book split into two. Thankfully, in India they are available as three volumes.

Now started reading Anansi Boys and it is Hilarious. Seems every bit as promising as American Gods and probably even better.

if you like books on management, read fortune at the bottom of the pyramid, really a thought provoking and a no nonsense book.

Top 5 would be (not necessarily in that order though)
1. Stand Proud - Elmer Kelton
2. Love Story - Eric Segal
3. If Tomorrow Comes - Sidney Sheldon
4. Train to Pakistan - Khushwant Singh.
5. A Painted House - John Grisham

Currently reading Confessions of a Thug - Philip Taylor.

"That Thou Art: Wisdom of the Upanishads" by R. Puligandla

Here's my last 5 read paperbacks.

1. Fish Omnibus
2. Tipping Point
3. Why Men are from Mars....
4. Blue Ocean Strategy
5. Anger Management

Cheers

Nice thread...

Good:
It - Stephen King
The Cuckoo's Egg - Chris Stoll
Hacking The XBox - Andy Huang

Current:
To Mock a Mockingbird - Ray Smullyan
The Haskell Road To Logic, Maths And Programming - K Doets & J Eijck
How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems - Jeff Hartman

Recent:
The Last Juror - Grisham
The Partner - Grisham

Grisham isn't was he used to be, I've been disappointed with all of his recent books. D Brown turned out to be a one-hit-wonder. Crichton, & King haven't been good to me recently too. I'm not really into the thick, family-drama kind of stuff when it comes to fiction, so choices are limited...

IM_Srini, try out :-

David Baldacci
Lee Child
Jonathan Kellerman

I am sure you will like them. Especially, the first two, they rock!

Try the following two

- Michael Connelly (Go for the Harry Bosch series)
- David Baldacci (His earlier books Absolute Power, Simple Truth etc are better)

Mike Yager's Corvette Bible
Muscle Car Confidential
Hemi:The Ultimate American V-8
Muscle Cars:The Meanest Power on the Road

My favourite books
1. Second Foundation ( Isaac Asimov)
2. A Brief History of Time ( Stephen Hawking )
3. Cosmos ( Carl Sagan )
4. The Bourne Identity ( Robert Ludlum )
5. The Rain Maker ( John Grisham )

currently reading Three Men in a Boat (Jerome K Jerome)
