Curreently reading "a double life" by Alyque Padamsee. Its a brilliant book and gives you great insight into the great ad guru and theatre personality that Alyque is.
Very difficult to make the list of top 5 from so many books read, and so many still to be read.
1. Surely you're joking Mr. Feinman
2. Papillion
3. Malgudi days
4. The diary of a young girl
5. The Godfather
Just completed 'Black Swan', yet to start the next.

Update: started 'The world is flat'.
Just read "stay hungry stay foolish".Very inspriring.Now reading "cosmos" by carl segan and "the white tiger" by arvind adiga.
Ukridge, Jeeves by PG Wodehouse, Without remorse by Tom Clancy, State of Fear by Michael Crichton, Godfather for sure
While most novels provide a different touch of emotion, I most enjoyed some of the "simpler" genres like:
Inscrutable Americans
Chicken Soup (Currently reading CS for Indian Soul)
Five Point Someone
and an all time favourite:
Malgudi Days
My favourite books are:

Currently I am reading Fountainhead by Ayn Rand
Just finished reading Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere. Amazing work of fiction.
This is really "The kind of book Terry Pratchett would write if he was locked in a cell for a month with Kafka", as mentioned at the back of the book.

Is this the book by Arthur Hailey? If yes, this is a great book and you are not only reading work of fiction but a book on airline industry as a whole.... it talks about pilot-stewardess relationship to noise pollution faced by the residents staying near airports to insurance to what not.... it is a fascinating, so are most of other Hailey's book.
Other good books from his stable are:

Currently doing a second read of Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment.
Does anyone know where i can get any other translations of this book apart from Constance Garnett's?

SWAY - Irresistible pull of irrational behavior..... Very light read. Liked it very much, especially a chapter on fairness. (In French, Sun revolves round the earth).

On a serious note, still struggling to finish catch 22 by Joseph heller, not because of lack of interest but lack of time.
It loses out to team Bhp every time!
