In the meantime, HDFC is dragging their feet about 'converting' my Regalia Visa to a RuPay card. Will escalate with them. I guess the RBI circular will bite them in the bottom about such biases in favour of Visa and Mastercard. |

Hi, I have an Amex supplementary credit card in my wife's name. Recently, I received several reminders asking to provide KYC documents for the supplementary card. I had provided the documents back in 2019 when I opted for this card; not sure why they want the same documents again! |

Escalated to both HDFC Card Services and Grievance Cell on email. Got responses from both that they are looking into it. If they revert saying that they can issue me any RuPay card from their selection, which one should I opt for? I'm using the co branded HDFC Tata Neu credit card. It gives you 1.5% cashback on all purchases and 5% cashback on bill payments from Neu app. It works seamlessly for UPI QR code payments as well from paytm app. |

Hey, I have the same card (HDFC Neu RuPay). My question is regarding fuel payments using RuPay UPI via this credit card. Normally, if we swipe the card directly at POS machine, there are no reward points to be earned at Fuel pumps. But what about UPI payment at petrol pumps using this card ? Does it earn reward points ? |

I logged in to the Amex site to update these information and was slightly puzzled by the mandatory fields to be filled. It was asking her company name, official email address, company address, etc., in addition to the residence details. Is this some sort of a new requirement to provide these details? Mostly I have seen these as optional. If anyone who provided KYC recently can confirm, will be helpful. Thanks in advance. Planning to call customer service tomorrow or day after. |

I had an Amex supplementary card in my wife's name for many years. Last year I changed from gold card to a platinum travel card and they requested a fresh KYC, insisting on a live video call. After a couple of failed attempts, since both my wife and I work and I was travelling at the time, they put the application on hold. I made another attempt but there were some tech issues (it's a fairly convoluted process and multiple points of failure), so I finally gave up. |

Incidentally, she also has an Amex corporate card issued by her company, which she uses only for purchase of research publications needed for her work. I now doubt whether the use of corporate card triggered this KYC. Will call them today to confirm. |

Had received a similar KYC update request a few months back & is legit - I checked with their call center to make sure this is not another phishing attempt. |

I also received similar emails for asking to update KYC on supplementary card. I think it's a standard process they are following for all supplementary cards. |

For low risk customers for example, if there is no change in earlier KYC details furnished, a simple checkbox tick confirming "no change" via Net banking login is sought. |
